You need to analyse this like poetry not a diary entry. She uses a lot of literary references. As a Christian I love her music and who she is as a person. She is not a theologian she was raised Christian. She has never denounced her faith but ai do not think she is born again but like many Americans she is a nominal christian. I think to analyse this like any music you need to listen to the lyrics- you did this in between not being able to get past a view of her as she was as a teenager when she first got famous and what the media talks about her.
