Hello, I just found your channel. I seen years ago on another channel is when you open your box of polyfil, just leave it taped shut and cut a small square in the corner of the box and in the plastic and then just take handfuls out of the box when you need it. Love all the chickens! Blessings!!

HI! I just came across your channel. Great work on your Mabel Chickens. I have several I need to get finished for an upcoming Fall festival. I have made some in similar colors as yours as well as in the Bernat Blanket tie dye-ish. I was going to stitch eyes on, but opted for safety eyes (I don't have the patience to stitch them on and I don't think I do a good job of it). I am hoping to make a few of them roosters too. I love that the mod is fairly simple, just gotta go through my stash to find the right colors (super hoping that I find them so I don't spend more money on yarn.....can't believe I just typed that!!!) I am looking forward to your next video.

I buy my polyfil in 20 pound boxes. I just cut a hole in the top and through the plastic bag, maybe about the size of a volley ball. This keeps all the polyfil contained very well, and you don't have to experience that growing monster. I have a large bag from Joann Fabrics that I just refill and I use out of that. Hope this helps!

This video came up on my feed and I'm so glad it did! You're so charming :) I'm your 200th subscriber! I'm an illustrator/mixed crafted artist and I've been thinking about opening up online shop again. I used to sell on Etsy before with my ex partner (pinback buttons and keychains mostly). But let me tell ya, it's so disheartening to see the platform overrun by dropshippers and suspicious accounts :( I miss the old Etsy days very much. I do really like the working by "drops"! I'm the same with commissions. Commissions are a ton of stress for me! lol Thank you for sharing! Wishing you the best :) PS: You look a bit like Heather Morris! haha <3 (very cute, very pretty!)

I have 10+ years on Etsy and I find if I don't change with the times / change with the trends / create different items if the best selling item is no longer selling the best, then my shop will take a downward spiral. If you find it is no longer fun and enjoyable by all means do not close the shop - just deactivate your items. It doesn't cost any fees to have an empty Etsy shop.

Amigurumi is newer to me so trying to figure out best plush yarn and needle for me as well as pieces that work up quickly.

It would be gorgeous and I think a lot of people would buy sets of them at Christmas time especially on etsy! Thank you for the tips, I did a craft bizarre in my local town which is super small only 230people last year I made my vendor fee of $20 back and that was it this year i made about $230 and people were excited I'm wanting to do a few more and maybe try the farmers market in the city closest to us but am so nervous

Premier basix chenille brights has a sand color as well. Parfait chunky has a good tan and dark brown. They just are smaller than blanket yarn and therefore make smaller items. But they have loads of colors!

I can’t pump out product like everyone else, I’m on disability but grateful and I’m happy as fuck. I’m gunna strut my stuff at my first market!
