This latest patch is a huge improvement,24 hours ago on Expert the CPU was hitting many shots from the baseline into the net along with all the other problems with the AI, i tested Medium difficulty as well and the cpu still hits big winners,none of those stupid flat shots from baseline into the net every point,they get to drop shots and get ball back and the slice serve to center right hand side of court which the cpu did not move now moves to that quickly and all this is on medium difficulty. I have not tried the stand wide on baseline and angle serve for winner ever time yet but the game is starting to look great. I have been saying that AO TENNIS 2 AI was way better before but i am having a harder time in Tiebreak now,the only thing the AI needs to improve a bit more on higher difficulties is get back to center of court quickly to be ready for wide angled winners the better players are using. Great job devs we are heading in the right direction now and Topspin 2k25 can rest in peace,what boring slow gameplay that was.

I have the ps5 version with the latest update and just getting used to it,serving is fine i turn off server timing indicator which just makes it harder not easier. We all know the AI is still terrible but i find Hard difficulty the AI is better than Expert,on expert the cpu keeps hitting the ball into the net with flat shots from the baseline when rally goes more than three shots,on Hard they still do it but not as much. If you choose a player who is a topspin heavy player they won't keep hitting into the net but many of the others just keep hitting into the net not giving any type of decent rally. Please lets hope we get another patch in a few days that improves this. It is a real shame as i really like the graphics in the game and all the players.
