There is no going back Kira. You pass and have already developed feminine body language and mannerisms. All this hard work will be rewarded - life gets better and better after the initial unhappiness. Take joy in the new you. Explore your sexuality. When I left my marriage it was a shock that I found men attractive. Hormones and surgery changed everything for me. I wanted to have intimacy in my new body - to strip off and watch a man take absolute pleasure in me. To be desired as a woman is intoxicating. Of the many friends I have made since transitioning, all are happy - some stayed with their wives, others have dated women and men. Whatever our sexuality we need to be our true selves - there should be no guilt.

Your beautiful i came out in 1996 now many years later at age 66 it’s a hard journey to one’s truth its the best thing i ever did its saved my life but the gender dysphoria for me has never gone away, but being the female that I am today gives me in a piece. It’s something nearly all women have experienced, yet it’s still brushed aside, with little being done to address it. Misogyny runs so deep in our culture, and dismantling it will require enormous effort. I really appreciate your courage in acknowledging how we, as women, can sometimes unknowingly perpetuate it by following the rules we were conditioned to, all in pursuit of success.
