Time to move on from Jones and Slay

I would not trade Slayton. He is a very good receiver for them.

Slayton's contract is up at the end of the season. Trade him to the Denver Broncos for Zak Wilson. and a 4th-5th round pick. Perhaps Wilson has matured as an NFL Quarterback. (See: Sam Darnold)

I saw some stats comparing last year at his point to his year at the same point, that stats were very similar, this year being a bit better. I thought that was why Jones was sat down to avoid injury, but I didn't associate his salary increase with that.

"Pick Six" Jones needs another 5 years and another 160 million to develop. Have patience, it isn't easy throwing a pick six.

Understand what I am saying. I know and feel like everyone else, but I do not think like everyone else. Jones has improved. The unit around him is substandard I honest feel Jones played a game that was called from the sidelines and he made no mistakes. No fumbles or INTs, and he was under tremendous pressure. As I remember there was no run game or not much of one as I remember. With no run game, and wildcats thundering at him Jones played a clean game. Let's not forget he has won 2 games. people angry at losing it is only natural Jones be the person responsible, but he isn't. Anyone who has watched this team and knows football, kows that no matter how good your defense is and to start t he season Giants had a real defense. If the offense cannot on a regular basis ever get a 1st down and puts the defense back on the field, the defense will fatigue, make errors and give up yard until the other team scores. So Giants brass understands Jones is not the problem that the Giants are not winning. The Giants must tell Jones to not get the hangdog look, he looks like he thinks it's his fault. Tell JOnes to grow up and keep his head, it is the least leadership he can the he is strong. Right, people think he has to go that the losing is his fault, because he sends signals with body language he things it's fault. Giants should be looking for WRs that catch the football in all situations.
