Check out our recent guide of things to do in Tromso at cowboysandeffigies.com/2018/01/30/on-the-edge-of-the-arctic-in-tromso-norway/
Yes. My wife and I just returned from our first visit to Balestrand. We too saw the glacier and the church, and we stayed at Kviknes Hotel, which is looking much the same in 2016... as is the Norwegian weather... although, to be fair, we did see some sunshine while we were there.

Very nice--thank you. We were there this summer June 2013 but my husband lost his camera. We were there on a Holland America cruise for the summer solstice. Having taught astronomy it was something I had wanted to do to see the "Midnight Sun." Thanks
Thank you for your beautiful travelogue. The Lofoten Islands are a dream destination for me, and your photography only confirmed how much I want to go there.
thanks Esther, your video are always nice and well made. Anyway, I think you are a lucky person if you've had a chance to do these footages:-)
Any place that's cold is good for me but I think Tromso is something special! What's the name of the song? It fits perfect with the video!

It's way too simplistic an explanation, but there's something to it! What seems to have happened, after all, was that Russia wasn't capable of holding the pace of changes! Inspite of what- or whoever "the elite" might be, it were the Germans who helped to bring down the Tsar in order to end the east front (WW1), what Lenin had promised to Germany and really happened! Russia (nearly) immediately stopped the war on Germany and vice-versa! What came next is now well known and it wasn't any better!
¡¡ Muy bonita, la visitaré !!
I've never heard of Noway before
was surprised to see so much cactus around there. The people aren't very receiptive to outsiders...we learned this when we drove around the islands in rental car...one guy got my attention with hoot calls...then he exposed himself to me...pulled down his pants as he stood atop his rooftop...I was disgusted as he kept waving his parts around, then telling me what he was going to do with it. Gross! I was driving so couldn't turn my head. He'd seen me earlier that day. What gross nasty pig!
I found a huge conch on the beach outside Devils Bay! I now have very nice lamp!
@akwatik92 yes begen is a very rainy city. Very rainy.

500 episodes later and we finally learn the birthplace of groundskeeper willie
Nice movie
Nice video about Gdansk, you've got nice editing skills!! We've been there in november and it's a really nice town to visit. We've shot our intro in Gdansk and an episode as well, you should check it out if you want
Best place on earth! have been there in May. By the way, what's the music playing?
hi... i love the first music. may i know whats the title and the composer? thanks
@stevedn1 It doesn't mean a thing. People were coerced to declare themselves Polish during German occupation and in 1930's. Same year an infamous Stutthof concentration camp was set in Gdansk suburbs where some sixty thousand Polish patriots from Gdansk are were murdered. Hundreds of thousands of Poles were deported from Gdansk region inFall of 1939.
@MultiAbdelrahim the buildings were indeed built by the Dutch during the colonial period...that's part of the history and we can't change nothing about it.
Been there 5 years a go it is really amasing place ABC islands rules :)
@stevedn1 It was founded by Polish king.Throughout the history it was Polish for over 750 years and Gernan/Prussian altogether for 350.See the numbers?Learn histoty instead of reapeting your Nazi grandfather propaganda.good day
@Tatt2dmoon It was free state for 40 years but under auspicion of Poland(Poland was responisble for internetional relations) and defended by Polish army.Get it it right if wanna get it right:))

@besther2 I also appreciated the filming here - very nice!
@agardebring I thought Stockholm very nice but I would not want to be there in the winter!
im gona visit this palce mayby in august..it will be intresting...
This is a great video. Very well produced. I am subscribing. Two thumbs up and I am looking forward to seeing more.
yes, its a beautiful city, but i dont think this video show all the beauty it has to offer. If you want to visit Trondheim you should go to places 15min with the bus outside the centrum of the city also! You'll find many nice places to camp and enjoy the view.
so THIS is where that city in DA2 got the name.
paintings are not created to decorate walls but so that we know where to find our spirituals
would be a nice place for a visit on my next trip to finland
I was there in this month of march (14 and 15). Is a small piece of paradise. Eu estive la nos dias 14 e 15 de marco/2011. Grand Turk è um pequeno pedaco do paraiso!!
I have visited the museum in 1979 and I would like to go there yet again! Take a look at my video production. You will find all kinds of interesting between heaven and earth! You will not be disappointed!
Are there a lot of modern buildings in Korsou or is must of the architecture colonial style? Hopefully people preserve the architecture and continue building colonial style houses and continues to be on the low radar for tourists
@besther2 The music is a nice touch in this video. It complements the place.
i love oslo, i wish to live there!
wwhy did they film this on a day the skies weren't entirly blue!? it would have seemed so much better
I visited the Hermitage 4 times between 2001 and 2005, but that still wasn't enough to see everything there. Nice video!
