Demystifying Tables | Dirtywave M8
Hello friends!
In this video I try to breakdown Tables on the Dirtywave M8. I've seen a lot of people struggle wrapping their heads around this particular feature, especially those who haven't had experience with LSDJ (don't worry though, I didn't have any experience with it either!) So check out this video and let me know if you have any questions.
I have an album coming out in the next couple months, so it'd be awesome if you could follow my instagram account: aliatheseer

Clear, understandable and useful. More please 😊
Thank you
What a pleasant and well thought out tutorial! Would LOVE to see more tutorials like this one covering other aspects of the M8. Keep it up!
Great explanations and examples, keep it up!
Great first video, wow
Such a great video. Would love to see you create a song from start to end as a tutorial. You’re so clear when you explain things.
I finally understood tables after owning a m8 for 2 years! You are awesome, thank you very much.
Nice explanation. Thanks!
Brilliant video. Learned a lot, I hope to be using this soon!
Thanks for sharing your knowledge with the community, it was very usefull indeed to clarify the table concept.
This is easily the best explanation of tables I’ve ever seen. Thanks so much for taking the time to explain it so clearly. You’re an excellent teacher!
Please make more
Fantastic video. Best presentation I have seen on the M8 (em-eight).
WHAT A BEAUTY OF A SKIN! :D
You got me wondering if a game boy controller will work with a headless M8?
I've seen people on the discord server use those abernic emulation machines to run headless!
Hi Thanks for that great tutorial! May I ask you about your cursor? How did you get that cursor with blinking edges instead of the whole field turning one color?
Hello! I'm on the beta firmware which features the new cursor. You can find it on the Dirtywave discord server if you would like to check it out for yourself <3
Really effective simple examples and explanations. Thanks!
Thanks for putting this together. Everyone else already commended your ability to explain your process, I just wanted to +1.
That tutorial was excellent. I hope you do more. I look forward to hearing your album. Thanks.
Thanks so much!
Awesome tutorial, got some useful tips out of this! How do you get the selection marker to look that way? Mine is just a fully colored rectangle.
Lovely run-through. Thanks for taking the time to making it, was really useful :)
Great explanation, very clear. Thank you!
Really appreciate your extremely well-spoken, clear and concise explanation of tables. The M8 community should reference this video for a well-formed tables tutorial.
Glad it was helpful!
How comes you stopped at just this tutorial as one of the best ones I could follow especially with the finger position
Even if you only have 1 video up, I'm a fan now :D
Well structured tut! Would have saved me weeks! ❤
Quick Clarification: I use the terms "Asymmetric" and "Asynchronous" interchangeably in this video, but when referring to looping material with different lengths, as I am, they're called Asynchronous Loops. Thanks <3
Thank you for explaining this. New to the M8 so very useful stuff
Really clear and easy to understand. Thanks
Nice tutorial! 👌
Thank you! Cheers!
Thanks a lot for sharing. What I don't really get: At around the 15:48 mark you're explaining that the Finetune [FIN02] in the table row 0 alternates the pitch. Row 1 however doesn't contain the FIN command. Does any empty cell in table "reset" the value that was changed above it, so it reverts to whatever value is set from the main instrument page? Does it work this way for all FX besides FIN as well?
