This one bummed me out just a bit, not because its bad but because it wasnt the hearth scent I was expecting. The smoke note is so far in the back and I get soooo much red hot cinnamon. Its still quite nice though but also kind of annoying that so many holiday candles are bogged down with cinnamon and not a better blend, ya know? If there was more smoke it would have been a LOVE for me. Reminds me of the demogorgon, cinnamon forward with a mulchy type background, when I wanted the opposite 😂 Definitely try holiday embers from gc, its not cinnamon heavy, it leans more clove but the hearth element is more pronounced. Its quite pretty. I think you'd like it too

Have you ever had Goosecreek Holiday Embers? I didn't get this bbw candle because I figured it might be close, but lighter, so didn't need same.

I love Peppermint sugar cookie. I wish BBW would bring it back. I love that you compare Peppermint bark like a lidnt chocolate. Yummy

I love that you do a candle review daily. Reviewers have been raving about this candle, but it doesn't sound that special to me. I think I would like Peppermint Sugar Cookie better. Of course, they didn't bring that candle back this year. ☹️ I enjoy your thorough reviews that you get through in under 10 minutes. You are my kind of influencer. 😃 I actually watch a variety of candle influencers. I hope more people find out about your channel! You not only do excellent, candle reviews, but you're quite entertaining, as well. You live in such a beautiful neighborhood and city.

Voluspa has a crushed candy cane fragrance that is sorta like the peppermint sugar cookie 😊

I picked this one up in October but I ended up returning it the packaging is absolutely stunning!! Lol BBW and their scent notes!!! To all a good night I guess smells like "waking up on a snow day" lol!!!

This one smells like The Demogorgon collab candle without the floral notes to me. I like both, but I don’t think I will repurchase. I wish they would bring Yuletide back.

I recently burned this one, and although I enjoyed the fragrance I found the throw to be quite weak. I like candle scents to punch me in the face 😆

I had placed a bopus order a few weeks ago for this one but when I got to the store and smelled it for the first time, all I could smell was red hot cinnamon which I really dislike lol it was a hard pass for me. I think some people are just more sensitive to that red hot scent. Glad you enjoyed yours!

This to me is a spin off of the Cinnamon & Clove candle mixed with a bit of the Fireside candle .I haven't lit mine yet .I haven't used the Cinnamon & Clove candle in years instead I burn The Perfect Christmas which I love .. probably one and done for me too though thanks for the review Greg ! Yikes can't believe the snow you have already .... I am never ready for that !!

I might like Christmas Cabin, because I love cinnamon in candles. I wish BBW would come out with more smoky fragrances. Did they have a candle called Fireplace at one time? I'm not impressed with Marshmallow Fireside. I received one as a gift, and I could barely smell it. I'm not a fan of amber as a scent note, either. Could you recommend a smoky candle that doesn't have amber in it? Yes, I'm quite opinionated. 😂

So I had to come back and update everyone on shimmering Christmas tree...I have been rage burning it because it looks great in my poinsettia candle hurricane it's a little above the halfway mark and it is starting to actually throw 😮 it's about a 3.5/10 I can smell it lol on reddit the yankee candle lovers were telling me not to set it next to a hallway or by a vent because the vent I guess will suck up all the scent??...I find that funny because I don't want to pay $26 for a candle and have to worry about where I put it so I can smell it I would be embarrassed if my customers were telling other people where to set my candles so they could actually smell it... Mind you I paid $26 with it on sale and a 20% off welcome code but that does include the shipping.. I don't understand why they can't just put a little more oil in their candles because I have always truly liked the way their candles smell and I would spend way too much money there if the candles actually gave a great throw.

You’re a hoot!😂 I tried Pumpkin Clove today as wax melts and it was soooo weak😫. I love the smell so much too. It is light on cold but was really hoping that once warmed it would be stronger. Now I’m debating whether to burn it or put it under the lamp. Did you try it this year? Thoughts, if yes? I don’t really watch tv so I’m not influenced at all by the collabs, beyond what they offer scent-wise. The new Lavender one that’s coming sounds promising. Hope they’re good.🤞 Til next time…✌️

Omg…I finished White Chocolate Macadamia this week too! I didn’t like it much on cold, but loved it once I finally burned it. I had a very clean burn as well. I would purchase another one if it comes back.

Omg, LOVE Praline Delight. It’s so subtle yet rich. I’m so sad it didn’t come back. Honesty, that dark wax is brutal: the wicks can barely handle it, you are right. And, yes- there’s that weird Woodland label. Such a mismatch! Haha. Thanks for your thoughts on these, Greg. ❤️

The single wicks in those vessels tunnel on me, so i won't buy them anymore. I didn't have that problem with the mason jar style. I think I like the quality of the mason jar vessel was better, too. Is The Penguin good? I'm running out of things to watch 😆

Im burning Lavender Luxe tonight! I think you will like it. The lavender is soft and sweet and reminds me of the lavender in Pink Lavender and Espresso.

Greg me too. I finished off several in November. I need space for new ones. I do enjoy Into the Night. I bought it on your recommendation. Macaron Cloud just pooled out and it has a presence. We shall see. I have never watched the show but I got all 4 3 wicks during the preview. Paris Amore is absolutely a repackage. Champaign in Paris is just how you described it. That same roasted note I found in warm apple pie but I personally love it The praline delight can be a little overwhelming I have to try radiant maple it looks like a Canada day birthday candle gone wrong lol

Hey my favorite Canadian! I took your advice and ordered a village candle I got balsam fir I hope I like it...I am stepping back from BBW I did a huge goose creek haul i haven't purchased from them in years I'm excited about it today I was putting away my fall candles and it kind of cemented my decision to walk away from BBW for a while because there was just nothing that I loved I have about five Christmas candles from BBW from this year and I don't think I'll be getting any more I was going to pick up forever red and my BOPIS order got canceled I don't really know why so that was kind of a sign for me but I am so excited about my village candle and my goose Creek candles I feel like I have poured so much time and love and energy into BBW that i need something new and refreshing!

It feels like a sin to refer to the company as Yankee Candle now that they are owned by Rubbermaid. I’m in my 50s and grew up in Massachusetts not far from the original factory and store of Yankee run by the late Michael Kittredge, and those candle years were magical because of his genius as a candle maker and developer. His son Mick runs Kringle candle and while every now and again you get a glimpse of what was, unfortunately the magic rests with his dad, in my opinion.

I have the same thoughts about Yankee Candle. Often very disappointed but I keep coming back hoping things will be better! I have an outlet store near me too, so that doesn’t help! Haha.

I still burn the one wick yankee jar candles, I burn them in a candle hurricane and put a llluma lid on top, and can burn it all day, I have asthma so I can't burn candles that are to strong, so yankee's work for me! 😊

Greg, cookies by the fire is decent. Smells like a snickerdoodle or a butter cookie Witham smoky undertone. Christmas Eve is usually a powerhouse.. I burn Christmas cookies every year. It's a light to medium in my 14 by 22 foot office. It all comes down to personal preference. I hope that you have a great weekend

😂 Cthu @ the musk reaction. I hope you have good luck with these. My Holiday Zest had zero throw even on the warmer. Love the scent of Balsam & Cedar and Cherries On Snow on cold, never burned them though. Can't wait to see your post burn reviews!

I live Cherries on Snow. It burned fine for me last Winter.

I bought shimmering Christmas tree to get out of the realm of BBW and to my shocking astonishment I was shocked to discover that it had no scent!....NOT I quit Yankee a long time ago and gave them another chance shimmering Xmas tree smells great but NO THROW!!! I let it burn for 9 hours and nothing I was so disappointed.

How would you rate balsam and cedar compared with BBW’s fresh balsam or their tree scents?

Feel the exact same way about Yankee… I can’t quit though 😅
