ULTRA magazine is the original UK printed magazine dedicated to ultrarunning. Established in 2015, its 12 issues have become collector's items, containing wonderful stories and beautiful images that celebrate our sport. We created this TH-cam channel with the aim of honest long-term tests of gear we use for our runs. I don't think we'll be swamping this with videos, but what goes in here should be good stuff.

It was so reassuring to hear that Simon also suffered on the RAS 2021. It was so hot that day barely anyone finished, myself included. I tapped out at the final CP of D1 with all over body cramps 😫. Have followed Simon ever since, incredible runner and as I write this is currently leading the Dragons Back 2021!

Great to hear some of the 'Tales of Lakeland Joss', one of the best fell racers ever and a decent all round runner and great guy. I also remember racing Joss in a number of road races as well as fell races and doing track training at the same time he was preparing for a 24 hour track race at Crystal Palace (London).
Gutted for him.
