Just the info I was looking for. Thank you so much, I learned a lot.
thank you for the video
Thank you for showing Saigon Waterbus! It is like Bateau Mouche in Paris. However, Ho Chi Minh City is much more modern and still has more greenery scenery.
I hear that they are discussing about a high speed train in Vietnam with the possible investment partnership with China. Whatever the outcome is, Vietnam will have a modern train system soon. The first thing that needs upgrade will the infrastructure to carry heavier and faster train and locomotive. I also notice that the train ticket almost costs the same as on faster and modern airplane.
I will land at Tan Son Nhut International Airport on Martin Luther King Day (USA Holiday). Too bad, I didn't catch your videos earlier. I know that bud 109 and 152 take arriving passengers from the airport directly to HCM center where major hotels are located. My only wish is that the public transportation website put out a list of hotels along the bus routes; this will help tourists from overseas to pick and choose the hotel when they are booking for a place to stay in Vietnam. This will help business along the routes a lot.
Thank's for this very informative video. Preparing for our next Saigon visit in January '24 I downloaded the BUSMAP app and found it packed with an abundance of features. Adding our hotel to the app, together with the markets we want to visit, makes it very, very easy to use the bus-lines in Saigon.
Hi Mark. Very helpul video, indeed. We planned on hiring a Grab driver to take us the 60 Miles from HCM to Vung Tau i January. But now we'll take the Speed Ferry instead! I am SO looking forward to my second trip to Saigon. We will, agian, stay at the Maison Royale hotel in district 3.Thanks for your very informative video, and I agree, don't use the taxi drivers waiting at the dock, We always use the GRAB app.
This video gives me very good information about how to go the Vung Tau beach. My Vietnamese friend recommended me to go there & swim at the beach. I will arrive in Ho Chi Minh city next week. If I run into you, I will say hello.
How many hrs it taken and how u booked the ticket online or offline?
The trip is 8 hours approximately. I booked the trip at the Saigon station. It's a very easy process. I'm sorry for the late response, I've been off line. Good Luck!
Awesomely, great and informative video. Thank you. I will attempt the adventure
Have fun!

Avoiding blazing heat is at the top of my daily list!
Thank you so much for commenting my friend. Yes, the heat here is at times oppressive. I don't believe that I'll ever be acclimated to it.
Very well done! I almost felt that I was there! Can you hop on and hop off on the same ticket?
There is no hopping on and off sadly. I should have added this information to the long form version video of this same subject. I had thought about doing so but in the end I neglected to add this useful fact.
Looking forward to more. Highly informative, great tips.
Thanks for watching!
Well done and informative information for getting around Saigon! I hope that Mark will expand this series to other aspects of life in Saigon, and then other parts of Viet Nam.
