I have a question. I just bought a pop-up camper and that gas line on the bottom of the cargo storage is disconnected and I don’t know what it goes to or what’s the reason for it. And also have the LP line to screw onto the tank itself.

Did you just drill a hole thru the roof?

1:25 what size motor do I need for my Coleman camper? It did not come with a lift. I had one put on it and it’s not have enough power to lift it. I have two king size beds one on each end It’s very heavy it’s a 2003

I have a 1995 Coleman destiny Stony Creek. I have replaced the cables as one busted in a storm. It's always been extremely hard to lift so I figured I would take a look at the gears in the box. Come to find out the box is upside down. There's no telling what else is wrong. I'm trying to take it apart so I can look at everything and I can't get the pin that attaches the whiffletree to the crank out. I've spent about 3 hours in the dark. Is there an easy way of getting this thing out? Thank you so much for all of your helpful videos!

My only real headache with my popup which is this model. Was the plate on the outside and under the dinette. It would come un attached. And had to be put back in. The water pump was hidden in there, plus the tower rollers. Did you notice this? Jist asking ot may help some others

Without the door in place (safety bar, essentially), it always makes me nervous to make the top rock side to side. But I'll be doing this operation this spring on our 2004 Fleetwood Santa Fe.

Holy Cow! Looks almost easy. At least straightforward. I have been having a hard time finding someone to replace the cables I cut to lower our 1970 Coleman Laramie top out in Death Valley in November when it would not come down. I guess I will give it a go. What's the worst that could happen. lol

Would love some advice! My hubby accidentally forgot to detach one of our roof latches before cranking up and we now have a huge crack in our roof. How would you repair it?

I have a fleetwood (2007?) that uses the same crack to raise and lower the pop up roof as it does to work all for jacks/stabilizers. Last hunting season I got out in the middle of nowhere and started setting up. One of the stabilizers wouldn’t lower fully without using some elbow grease on the crank. It was greased up but might be out of alignment or something. Took some real muscle work to turn that crank. Anyways, after finally getting it down to the ground, it turned out the socket in the crack bent out of shape. I spent about 2 hours trying to hammer the socket back into a circular shape (instead of oval as it now was) using the backend of a hatchet. Otherwise the socket wouldn’t fit inside of the pop up roof slot. I was sure sweating if I might have to sleep in the truck with all my warm gear in the camper. Yes, I need to look into fixing that stabilizer, but boy those cranks must be made of potmetal.

Why didn't you show a side view; when assembly was completed? What is the correct spacing between the sprocket, brake, etc?

I just acquired an older Jayco pop up and had to replace the cords, instead of using a fish wire, I just taped the new cord to the old and slowly pulled it through the fabric channel which is setup a little different than a Coleman. Multiple ways to accomplish the same thing.
