Hi I have a question 👇👇 Let us assume you move at 90% of the speed of light and observe an apple falling from the tree. Problem : would the apple appear to fall faster or slower compared to what you would have observed if you were just chilling by the side of tree(stationary) Case 1: Since moving closer to the speed of light it should appear to fall slowly according to time dilation (I found on the internet ) Case 2: Since moving closer to the speed of light makes your clock tick slower than the resting clock and you age slower you should experience the world in fast forward making the apple appear dropping faster.( Quite opposite of any movie and series speedster) Which one is true?
Hii Jai... It's great that you have come up with a curious question... I'll try to address it, hope it will be clear.... Let's take the same Example... I am standing near the Apple tree...and an apple falls...i checked in my watch, it took 1sec (t)... Now if we see the equation for relativistic time - it says T(dialated time) = t (original time, non relativistic time) * √(1-v2/c2) Now, let's say you are on a spaceship...going with the speed of 0.9c...so the time what will be shown in your watch is the dialated time (T)... So, now if you put all the values in equation- T=t √(1-0.81) T=t (0.44) So T = 0.44 (as t was 1 sec) So in your watch the same event will show only less time. Now let's convert this in year....if the apple takes 10 years to fall...in your watch it will only be 4 years... Means you will only age 4 years, whereas I'll age 10 years... Hope this helps.... Stay with us, for more interesting videos... Have a good day....

Can you please tell me what anomeric effect actually is.?...Plz sir tommorow is my exam and this question holds my 3 marks so please Tell in easy language what is anomeric effect .? ...

This video is very helpful, Thank you so much sir. Due to online classes, we can't understand the topics. But after watching this video, clearly understood.
For anyone interested in 15:00 why the coupling constant is lower for the alpha anomer than for beta. It is because in the beta anomer the hydrogens are both axial (axial-axial), whilst in alpha anomer they are axial-equatorial. The Karplus relationship tells us that axial-axial couplings are larger (180 degree dihedral angle) than 60 dg angle axial-equatorial or eq-eq couplings.
Short and informative. Thanks!!
Can you provide the mechanism of conversion of osazone to osone using benzaldehye in acidic medium?
Thank you!
Baddddd

...so you have the alcohol resonance form of the aldose having its -OH group attack the NO2- anion. Could we have instead, the NO2- anion attacking the carbonyl carbon of the aldehyde resonance form of the aldose?

Can you explain me why formation of methyl glucopyranoside can't takes place in basic medium only in acidic medium ?
what is the length of edge for this structure?
It could vary compound to compound
(2√2)R = A where r is the distance between two atoms and A is edge length
Thanks for kind explanation. Superb!

Thanks!
Thank you sir
Sir, pls upload detail mechanism pls
Sir give more examples of deoxy sugars.....
How to explain effect on bond length of this effect
If u consider the substituent in axial position, the heteroatom present in the ring will deliver it's lone pair to the sigma star of the substituent... you may say it as a special type of hyperconjugation,(I guess it can be called negative hyperconjugation)...now because of this effect, the bond will be more weaker,so bond length will increase...(bond length of the axial substituent)
@@untoldsciencestories2025 thanku
U don't sound very sure of wut ur saying... Speak more confidently...
Yes... You are right... next time..I'll keep that in mind... Thank you...
@@untoldsciencestories2025 no problem
how do you where the sigma star orbital is located?
Whenever there is a Sigma orbital,a Sigma star is associated with that...u can assume that the major lobes are opposite to the bond and goes away from the nucleus...in case of an SN² reaction, the incoming nucleophile attacks from the behind,to the Sigma star orbital...hence the corresponding Sigma orbital breaks... Do u get it now?...
@@untoldsciencestories2025 so the sigma star lobe is always going in the opposite direction of the sigma bond?
