Alrighty, Time for me to criticise: 😎 The Concepts: So, the first thing that I should mention is that this PILOT takes the same idea as Toy Story but if it was about drawings instead. (heck, it even admits itself through an easter egg at 8:59) The Art and Animation: It's fine but since this story will be about drawings coming to life, I think it would be fitting if there are more Art styles imported into The Art Of Murder than just: 1. the Cartoon Style. 2. the very obvious Anime Art Style that I have seen many many many times that you guys did nothing special/unique with. The Story: the story is pretty much the same as Toy Story except that Andy has been changed as a girl, the 4 drawings are jealous of the OC drawing, one of them had so much envy that they took the page of the sketchbook and now: it's a mystery story. The Music: Yep, there's musicals in this one, and I honestly don't care much about it but I do have a feeling that the Voice actors wants to sing a lot so badly? like how they did in 9:28 to 13:04 I just hope that we don't get a lot of musicals in this show. Overall: I think it's fine, 5.5/10 whatever.

As an artist and as a musical theatre actor who has studied it professionally for years good god I LOVE THIS! The mix of art styles for each character the fluid animation, the references! Not to mention the stellar voice acting! This has got to be one of my new favorite things!! Good lord you’re all incredible! Much love to the cast, crew and all the amazing creatives who poured their hearts and souls into this! 😭💕💕💕

This is like the modern Toy Story, making you wish your drawings came to life too! While the concept of a drawing coming to life isn’t exactly new, the specific characters in reference to media a 2000’s kid would have watched and drawn gives it a fresh and modern feel, in a good way. This is very creative and I could tell the people who worked on this have consumed some, if not all of the media tropes portrayed when they were growing up.

Well it is a bit rough animation wise, and a bit cringe....but I love it! This really encapsulates life as a beginner artist to me and resonates with me for that reason! I can't wait to see more!!!! Though I wish the figures weren't pop figures lol
