    no mention of Richelieu decade long sparing with his Spanish equivalent , the Count-Duke of Olivares Gaspar de Guzman , his equal in intelligence and determination those two would duel with Europe as a field , both held supreme but tenuous position as their king favorite and drove their countries to bankruptcy for supremacy

    jewish revolt😂😂 it was a revolt from the kingdom of israel. Jewish didnt become a thing for another 700 years. Please do better

    • @HistoricalTip
      @HistoricalTip หลายเดือนก่อน

      Actually, the Jewish people have a long and continuous history, dating back to the ancient Kingdom of Israel. By the time of the Bar Kokhba Revolt, Judaism was already an established religion, and the term 'Jewish' referred to the descendants of those ancient Israelites. The revolt was led by the Jewish people in response to Roman oppression in the 2nd century CE. The history of the Jewish people spans millennia, far before the term 'Jewish' would have been understood in the same way it is today.

    • @samueldvorak1451
      @samueldvorak1451 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @ incorrect, jewish wasnt a word used until around the 7th century so using it to describe the ancient kingdom of Israel is lazy at best.

    • @samueldvorak1451
      @samueldvorak1451 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @ Furthermore, at the time of this revolution, there were distinct tribes and a Jew wasnt someone of the tribe of Judah so calling all of Israel, jewish just doesn’t make sense.

    • @HistoricalTip
      @HistoricalTip หลายเดือนก่อน

      Actually, the term 'Jewish' is derived from 'Judah,' the southern kingdom of Israel, and has been used for centuries to describe the people and their faith. By the time of the Bar Kokhba Revolt, the Jewish people were already well-established, with a distinct religious and cultural identity. While the word 'Jewish' as we understand it today may have evolved, the people and their connection to the Kingdom of Israel have been documented for millennia. Historical sources, including Roman records, refer to the Jewish people during this period, long before the 7th century.

    • @HistoricalTip
      @HistoricalTip หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's an interesting point, but it's important to understand that by the time of the Bar Kokhba Revolt, the term 'Jew' had already evolved to refer to all the people of Israel, not just those from the tribe of Judah. While Israel was originally made up of different tribes, the term 'Jew' became more widely used after the Babylonian exile, when the term 'Judah' (the southern kingdom) came to represent the entire Jewish people. By the 2nd century CE, 'Jew' referred to anyone who practiced Judaism or was descended from the Israelites, regardless of tribe.

    there were no Jews at the time and Judaism didn't even exist

    • @HistoricalTip
      @HistoricalTip หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's a common misconception. By the time of the Bar Kokhba Revolt (132-135 CE), Judaism was well-established as a religion with a rich history. The Jewish people trace their roots back to ancient Israel and Judea, and their identity was deeply tied to their faith and homeland. Historical records, including Roman accounts, confirm the existence of both Jews and Judaism during this period.

    Wait a minute, Jews built terror tunnels against Romans? Or is it that Khamas made resistance tunnels taking inspiration from Bar Kokhba

    • @HistoricalTip
      @HistoricalTip หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi 👋 Interesting question! The tunnels during the Bar Kokhba Revolt were primarily used for guerrilla warfare and as hiding places against the Romans, a common tactic in ancient conflicts. While the concept of resistance tunnels is not unique to any one group or era, comparisons between different historical and modern contexts should be approached with care, as they often arise from vastly different circumstances.

    This was more accurately a very carefully planned genocide operation. Historian Suetonius said 100,000 civilized/innocent Roman and Greeks were systematically, brutally and callously slaughtered...men, women, children. It was actually the first recorded holocaust. Naturally, the Romans were never going to be driven out of Judea with this kind of bully tactic.

      You should have mentioned, that Prince Mustafa was not Hürrems son, but the son of her rival Mahidevran. If Mustafa had taken the throne, he would have killed all of Hürrems sons, due to Ottoman tradition. Mustafa was the eldest and much loved by the army which made him a powerful opponent.
