The horror was when i got the game in 17 and was scared my parrents would see me play (im 20 now that was 7 years ago 😭😭😭)

I had a killer game where all 4 survivors had old background player, flip flop, power struggle, and purple flashies. I felt like I was in a war zone dodgeing sniper fire and bayonet charges.

Dead by daylight scares me because the night before I came back after a long break, I had a NASTY nightmare about micheal myers, the next day I didn't play till late around 8pm ish. I was playing with my cousin and we was on the nurses map. I was on a generator at the begin of the game and started too explain my nightmare too my cousin, I swear on my grave literally a few seconds after finishing my story I was picked up by a myers off of thr generator and felt my heart STOP. So now I stay with someone at the beginning fo the game until I know its not myers

My scariest moment was like this: Withered isle, playing survivor is the best map, but playing killer... oh boi, i have been stunned, blinded, all the totems, all gens, all pallets down, head on, gen flashbang, all rescue and... one of them scape in hatch, the other 3 on the door, 20 minutes match... it was horrible

One day I faced a Dredge and it was the most terrifying experience I’ve ever had, knowing it could show up anywhere, any time, even if I’d just seen it across the map. It was the most fun survivor match I’ve played, and now I main Dredge.

Of course the game is a horror game. It says so in the game’s tags.

there was one time as survivor while i was playing on the aliens map against a trapper and i kept an eye on the floor for a lil bit too long so as soon as i move my camera up hes right there and i get downed and i think i mighta stained my pants that day

Scariest moment for me was this: picture yourself working on a generator with your friend. Then, across the map, another one turns yellow. You have no idea why. Then, oni screams off in the distance. You start to worry. Then you remember, the perk trail of torment exists. That’s why that generator is yellow. All of a sudden out of nowhere a huge hulking beast of a man comes from around the corner and downs your friend. You barely make it out alive as you see the thing pick up your friend and walk away.

The biggest horror in the game is how incompetent the devs are

The scariest thing about DBD for me is playing as Myers and always getting a flashlight in my face because I’m Myers.

i'm a p51 ellen main in dbd and can confirm everything in this video is 100% i always get tunnelled first and if not i get lag spikes at shack and get hit 5 meters through the window

just so you know at 4:21 the knight actually hit the wall, not his spawned knight. you can hear that in the hitting sound. its a weird thing with hitboxes that sometimes when the killer swings and there is a wall or a rock or something like that the game makes the killer hit the wall, etc. its weird.

tbh ive got 1200+ hours in this game and i still think its a horror game. playing against people who mastered their killer is really fucking scary. a deathslinger who shoots you though the smallest cracks in walls, a nurse who always knows where you are, a huntress orbital striking you across the map, a blight hug tecking you on every loop (sadly they removed that) or have you ever played against a silent chainsaw billy? like you mentioned its scary that he can pop up at any moment anywhere on the map but not even hearing when he goes into a chainsaw sprint is even worse. but if the killer isnt good enough to do stuff like that its just a normal game tbh. but it still has a lot of horror aspects to this day.

Onryo really makes me have anxiety at times by how she can teleport around the map and is invisible from a certain distance during demanifest, no wonder I average around 2 kills with her every time without doing much about anything, I used to think survivors were dumbasses to run in my direction before realising that she actually is invisible like that.
