I think it's only in Sweden we celibrate Lucia. Maybe Norway also. Lucia was actually a young girl that lived around year 300 in Sicily. It's a quite macabre history around her but she was finnaly declared a saint. We in Sweden have taken her to our harts and celibrate her evey year the 13th of December.

Hello Ann. I do like this museum and I have always been insterested in cars and motorcycles. I do undestand that most of my subscribers are not that interested in cars but now and then I like to make a film about this. I'm glad you like the music.

Yes, we had a lovely time in Rome despite all the tourist and that most of the attractions were covered up for restauration. Rome is a fantastic city. Thank you for your comments. There will be more travel videos next year.

Yes, it's very nice in the Swedish country side. Unfortunatly more and more people move in to the cities so there are fewer and fewer people living there. Snow comes usually not before Januari, but you never know. Can come in November also.

There are a lot of tourist these days. That is a big problem. We did try to avoid that by not going to the big tourist attractions. We tried the vatican city but the queue to the church was to long so we skipped that. There are so many other things to do in Rome. Just walking around is fantastic.

It's really a fantastic city. We lived in Rome for three years during the 80s with our two kids. I worked for an international company at that time. There were not so many tourist then.

Thank you Ann for your comment. Yes, nature is truly beautiful. But even more important is to spend a weekend together with good friends. That is what makes live worth living.

Thank you Michael. Yes, the country side in Sweden can be very beautiful however it's also very empty of people these days. People are moving in to the cities leaving only old people in the country side. But the nature is fantastic. I think it's only in a few countries you can walk freely in the woods looking for chantarelles.

It was really a very nice weekend together with my wifes sister and her husband. I could have filmed more of the different things we had for lunch and dinner and how we prepared the food but the thing is you have to socialize also not only filming. With this film I want to show you what it looks like in the swedish country side.

Yes, that is true. But we just looked at it and then went home an prepared dinner. But it was fun to see. So much i happening here.

@@Semi0ffGrid7 Mine is what we call a five door model from 1987. This is the first year after the facelift. SAAB are nice cars.

@@vendelflorin It's a real peach of a car, I love the old Saabs, I have 3, I also own a silver 1996 9000 Aero and a an embassy blue 1990 900 T16s Aero, all are manual transmissions. The 1990 900 & the 9000 need some work but drive great, I am looking forward to restoring them. Sweden is beautiful and where you live on the island is very special! Blessings from UK and thank you Sweden for Saab & Volvo, extremely clever cars, I think it must say something good about Swedish people.

@@Semi0ffGrid7 You are a blessed person having three SAABs. Yes, they are nice but starts getting old so need a little more maintenance. I have to change the generator on my car but hesitate to do that in the middle of the winter having the car outdoors. I have to wait for a little warmer weather I think.

@@vendelflorin Thank you, I do feel blessed! I think the maintenance is worth it though and far less hassle than modern cars which cost a fortune when they go wrong and there is just something thrilling about driving old vintage cars.

Thank you for your comment. It's autumn in Sweden now, it is much cooler but the weather is still nice. Linkoping is really a very nice town.

Min första bil var en SAAB 96 från 1961. Den var rostig och jag fick laga skärmarna med plastic padding och hönsnät men jag älskade den och den var underbar att köra på små grusvägar med. Jag ville bli rallyförare. 😂

You need to buy an old SAAB to be happy again :-)

Unfortunatly the part where we get of the boat was not good enough. I miss that also. It's difficult to go back and film that part again. Thank you for your comment.

It's high and it makes a lot of noice in high speeds. But in low speed, and I live on a small island, it's very comfortable to drive with.

It was a very nice morning when we left the island in mid august. When we returned two weeks later the autumn had started. Much cooler and more clowdes as you can see. But you are right, it's small moments like this that makes life worth living.

It's from 1987. Only 126000 kilometers and well maintained. Always in a garage. Lives a slow life here on the island.

No this is a protestant church. Sweden left the catholic church in the year 1593.

It's a very beautiful place. And it gives an idea what Sweden looked like houndreds of years ago.
