I love our New Age garage 9 cabinet set, what I don't love is how the overhead cabinet gas struts didn't last and it is impossible to find struts that fit.

How they didn't make the bracket holes 16 on center is crazy. Glad I wasn't the only one having to troubleshoot this

the finished product at the end looks like a great place to trap lint in that tight 90 degree bend. Flex pipe sucks and you failed to sell me on that quickie dryer disconnect as well.

My dryer has been shrinking clothes for 15 years.

Great video. I'm preparing to build one these, except we cut out the drywall to install the shelves inside the wall. I am trying to decide the spacing of the shelves. I see that you made yours tall enough for different sizes of spices. To maximize the space, I was thinking of making a least one shelf that is just tall enough for our small spices and others for taller items. Our small spices are 4 3/8" inches tall. Would 5 1/4 or 5 1/2" be tall enough to easily remove and replace the spices from the shelves?

Newage is currently 10 days behind my delivery window. I had to call them, wait on hold for 15 minutes, and was promised callbacks that never happened. Email case updates go unanswered for days. They have no idea the state of their own warehouse inventory nor can they get an update from their shipping partner. Caveat emptor.

Curious to know what you used to brace the middle board to the cement? Initially there was nothing but later in the video it looked like the .middle board was resting on the ground. Thanks!

Thanks. My building designer has an Ikea kitchen and recommended them, although I was skeptical because there are no Ikea stores in my state. He then told me how cheap it was to have it shipped across Bass Strait. Your video just sold me on the idea.

Great work. I am getting mine this Friday. My garage foundation lip is sticking out 5 inches and is about 24 inches tall. I am thinking about installing the lockers on top of foundation lip and they will be attached to the wall stud.

Question: Do they offer upper cabinets that go all the way to the ceiling? One thing I hate is having that empty space there that could be used as storage instead. Especially when my house doesn’t have enough storage for all my kitchen appliances.

Seems like you installed the drawers with less spaces where you can use your hand to grab them to open. Are you planning on installing drawer handles to make them easier to pull open?

Do you have some sort of a bracket for the center support anchored into the concrete?

I refinished our 4 years ago during Covid. It took them awhile to reopen. In that time I redesigned the kitchen many times. I pretty much know where everything was going in it. My husband keeps his office there too. I took over some of the part he used to have. But he still has more space than he did before because he had overhead storage now. Also, when building an island you can use uppers to save space.
