America's Crumbling Empire
Cities all over the country from Philadelphia to Detroit and Baltimore to Camden are a shell of their former glory. Industry has all but left this country and we are left with a large portion of the population struggling to make ends meet. Drug abuse has skyrocketed and historically low crime of 10 years ago has begun to tick back up. We need to get back to basics, focus on our families, our faith, our community and our health.

มุมมอง 2023 หลายเดือนก่อน

Baltimore's "Black October" - Vigilantes or Turf War?
มุมมอง 1.7K3 หลายเดือนก่อน
One of the wilder chapters of Baltimore's history related to a semi-hidden group named Black October. They were suspected to be involved in a number of high profile crimes. According to Black October the crimes were committed in order to stamp out the drug trade. Others felt the group was just an opportunistic criminal gang, hiding behind social issues and politics. Either way, it was a dark an...

Roughest Streets in Chester Pennsylvania

Once a major hub of industry, Chester PA has seen a major decline over the past 5 decades. More than half of the city's population has left, leaving behind an empty, somewhat surreal scene. There have been some glimmers of hope for the city in recent years but it is unlikely that the city will ever return to where it once was.

Demolishing and clearing out decrepit vacant buildings and burned out row houses is all fine and dandy but that alone will not solve Baltimore’s serious socioeconomic problems. There needs to be major investments in education and economic development. There needs to be programs aimed at getting at risk youths off of the streets and into constructive activities. Maryland has one of the best public school systems in the country yet Baltimore is one of the nation’s most undereducated cities. Obviously a major disconnect between the city and the rest of the state.

You're far below Pimlico, down by Park Circle. You have hundreds of blocks to go to be in Pimlico. PIMLICO starts just below Belvedere and Park Heights Ave and goes on until a few blocks above Northern Parkway and Park Heights Avenue. Then you're into Upper Park Heights and Pikesville. I grew up in Pimlico, and most of this isn't it.

3:55 to 5:30 - My old stomping grounds back in the mid-1950s through 1974, and we called the whole neighborhood "Pimlico" back then. I attended St. Ambrose school and church and spent many a Saturday afternoon watching the matinee movies at the Uptown theater, just above Garrison Avenue. I am glad to see some development occurring around Virginia and Woodland Avenues as well, but it still pains me to see the old neighborhood looking this way.

as a resident of Westport you missed a lot. there was also a bakery, a beauty shop, 3 bars a drugstore a retail store that you could buy just about any household items clothes and shoes there was a chinese food shop 2 nice sub shops and the major hang out was the drugstore that not only filled prescriptions sold alcohol and had a wonderful soda fountain that everybody ate at these business's have closed or became other shops although we do deal with a lot of junkies here if we could keep them in anne arundle county where they come from this would be a really nice neighborhood again also forgot the building next to the firehouse used to be our library there was also a gas station and a car lot, due to greedy people our waterfront is going to have high rises taken our view you also missed carr lowery glass house one of the major makers of avon bottle and most anchor hocking vases and all sorts of wonderful products our block is fabulous we are mostly home owners not renters so sorry had to tell you that i was born and raised in this neighborhood as was my father brother and sister in fact my great grandparent bought their house around 1922 so our roots go back generations and we are very proud of our homes families and of our neighborhood, please don't think this is a bad place thanks for your time

🗣️How many burgers was he selling? His pit beef business had ² been booming. As weird this may seem but how many burgers one human body could make if put in meat grinder as Joe claimed he has done. If he stayed in an old trailer, where did he store the ground up body remains so there will be no dead body smell? I read sumwhr where Joe said he mixed human flesh with season pork, being that they taste similar 🤦🏽‍♂️ Now that's a lot of meat ² discard of. Now if he's selling damn near 100 burgers a day, then his claim ² have chopped bodies up and sold the ground up remains ² the public, won't be so far-fetched. (who's here Aug. 16, 2024)
