Never seen anything move that fast so far away and change direction at impossible speed. planes don't do instant 90 and 180 deg turns!!! Posted screenshots from video on here too.

what is the sound module you are using here, I am hunting for a similar for my build
I have emailed and posted on other of your videos with questions but with no replies.
My apologies I have been away on holiday without WiFi access to my account. I will review your emails, messages and get back to you. In the meantime please reply to this email if you are still interested. Regards, Mike
How wide is the smallest scale roadway? And how far apart is the chain on the '2' way part?
I sent an email, I hope the files are still available. Brilliant work!
I am trying to design a bend elevation to reduce length. 😢
Hi hope you are well. I have designed a riser system for this which elevates it by degree so far I can elevate it to 80mm, however, the distance to do this is 800mm.😊
Love the look of your system. My Christmas display will look awesome with this. Will also have to put it with my ho buildings too. Now if we could navigate some hills...
Hi Monarck Have you downloaded the PI3 stl files from the Dropbox?
Bisa order tidak
That's awesome. The system isn't noisy and the chain seems good and strong enough to carry many vehicles. It would be perfect for my project. Very good job.
Hi Thank you. 😊 I have a Dropbox where I hold the files which are functional but I do keep improving on them. roadchainsystem@outlook.com Send me an email and I will reply with the Dropbox link. Regards Barry
I wonder if it would feasible to use this to power a Canal Boat on a 009 layout?
Hi, if it is used as a loop back then yes indeed. I have designed a special dual track for such an application. If you email me on roadchainsystem@outlook.com I will send you the Dropbox link where I hold all the files. Cheers Barry
Anyone wanting my files please email me I can email you the files if you provide a email request 😊. roadchainsystem@outlook.com Tried to upload files to Thingyverse but had issues which are being resolved by their support centre. Cheers😊 Hi I can email you the files if you provide a email request 😊.
Hi hope you are well, The motor below which can be purchased on Amazon link: amzn.eu/d/4fb1rIM Supplier: Garosa 12V 8mm Shaft Worm Gear Motor, High Torsion Low Noise Metal Gearbox Electric Turbo Speed Reduction Motor with Ball Bearing (30RPM) Hope this helps.
Great Work...May be IT can be also a solution for my lego City... Finally Just other scale or Radius for the curves So you offer the 3d Files?
Hi thanks 😊, the scale can be changed for each component when uploaded to the 3D printer by resizing. I have printed a full set of components for 'N' Guage and 'O' Guage. I have tried to upload the files to Thingyverse but having issues for some reason. I have co tacted Thingyverse Support and waiting a resolution. I can email the files to anyone wanting them if I can obtain email requests for them. Hope this helps.
Thanks you for the offer. I think Just scaling will Not Work. The Lego roads have their scale but also the length of the plates. I fear it must be designed especially for the Road system... Or single rails🤔 straight ones will be easy... Cutable to lenght... Curves will BE harder...the chain will Slide on the bottom and need on inner Side a Slide surface (don't know the right Translation 😁) outer Side doesn't Matter IT needs Something Like a rail with Triangel Cut Outs to bend the rail. Rounded Slide edges to reduces Resistenz... But I fear IT will BE to noisy🤔
Yes I have an email for requests. roadchainsystem@outlook.com. If you do a quick diagram and send it to me, I can email you the correct files. 😉
If you send me a rough diagram to roadchainsystem@outlook.com I could design something for you. I will send photo of modification just done. Might help.
I need to either 3D print my own or break down and buy a kit. But, I only need like 28 inches for a haunted house ride….
Hi I can email you the files if you provide a email request 😊. Tried to upload files to Thingyverse but had issues which are being resolved by their support centre. Cheers
Hi, I have created a Dropbox where I hold all the files, if you email me on roadchainsystem@outlook.com I will send you the link. You might be better to use the "cut back version" it takes up 33% less width. Regards Barry
Hi Scary 😨 I have uploaded the files to my Dropbox so if you email me; roadchainsystem@outlook.com I will send you the link. Regards Barry
I'm impressed. I'm planning to build a model for my sons and I would like to have something like this. Is there a chance to buy?
Hi I can email you the files if you provide a email request 😊. Tried to upload files to Thingyverse but had issues which are being resolved by their support centre. Cheers micheal_weir@hotmail.com
Hi, I have created a Dropbox because the files are too big to email. If you email me on roadchainsystem@outlook.com I will send you a link. Regards, Barry
Hi hope you are well, I can either send you a Dropbox link where the STL files are held; if you email a request to roadchainsystem@outlook.com. If you cannot 3D print them yourself if you send me a diagram; including layout sizes, I can print what you will require and post the modules a d all components you will need to complete the layout. Regards, Barry
The STL 3D files for this system will be posted to Thingyverse shortly. I will post the drive components and suppliers also. 😊
hello - did you put the files up on this project - very interested in this - regards andy
I have upgraded the motors for 30 rpm higher torque units to extend the layout.
Could you provide stl?
Good evening. I hope you are well. Indeed I could, however, I don't know how I can as I am not a seller, not that I would charge for them. I could I suppose email them or place them on Thingyverse. Let me know the best way to do this. Some of the drive items are already available on Ebay and Amazon, but the track 3D print modules are of my design. I will point out that the original idea was not mine. I improved on an existing design to the extent that my design is nothing like the original. Thanks, of course, to the gentleman who did the original, which is open source. Best regards, Mike
This is a rough layout of board 1 of the Road Chain System for my OO guage scale railway I am constructing, it is 1 of 2 such boards
wow Barry. i have already printed a whole system from 3d Printed roadway. your system is a big jump. Please allow me to continue with your system. would love to print your drives , so much quieter.
Hi hope you are well. Thanks for the positive comment. ☺️ The system has dramatically improved since my last post, take a look at my current additions.
The drive is not servo anymore, too noisy I use 12v DC gear reduction 30 rpm motors from www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0881QV9GC?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
How can I get the STL files to you. I would gladly send them to you. The system is total modular so can be set out for any design. The components can be size altered to fit in any position.
Your system works Nicely. Can you please provide us the details on where to get these plastic chain system, sprockets & parts.
The chain and cog system comes from Blue Sky Components Ltd on ebay. The track is a modified 3d print system which I redesigned and made additions to. The files will be available soon on ebay, hopefully free of charge or at least pre printed buy me to requirements; at cost of production.
The drive motors are 12v DC 30rpm reduction with an 8mm D shaft to fit the cogs. I don't think you can purchase this type on ebay.
Drive is not servo anymore, too noisy I use 12v DC gear reduction 30 rpm motors from www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0881QV9GC?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Just seen this. Really impressed. Just a few questions. How does the motor attach to the sprocket? About how many chain links do you need to a meter? Can you provide the finished chain guide tracks? Thank you!!
This is a 3D prototype printed draft, several other features to be worked out regarding further automation.😅
Its the agora models? Convert to navigate?
This a OO Gauge Mill, I did not design the original 3D file but made lot of additional features an structure details. Has lights and is motorised. Had to reduce 1/76 scale of course.😊
The road surface will be added later and fitted under the pavements.
This a quick short to display 3D printed pavement system for the OO Guage Road Chain vechile track.
Sounds noisey on mobile as near 12v motor, but it actually really quiet 39Db constant.
As said before not good at videos on mobile but I try 😂. This is the first test of a Road surface 1mm perspex just resting on the base chain drive, seems to work well ran it for 4 hrs with no issues. The test bed system on the video cost £156.89 to complete as is. All the base drive is 3D printed and is modular so can be laid out in any configuration and any size OO guage, N guage O guage etc. Hope you like it.
Neat. What's it for though...?
This is for model railway layouts. You place 1/76 diecast vechiles on a flat painted road surface and the vechiles look as though they are being driven around. The road runs like real roads between buildings.
The guage can be adjusted on the 3D print for any scale such as OO guage, N guage and even O guage.
@@michealweir314 That's actually pretty neat! thanks for the explanation :D
Total cost of this system so far is, £104.86 this includes the £28.99 30Kg servo.
Hi, what motor are you using to power it all , ive got a similar set up under construction on my layout & trying to source a better motor for it
Added junction to add road system into other areas of a town or into countryside. The servo is noisy but will be using a 12v DC motor and adding chain tensioner. The chain is neoprene and doesn't make much noise itself. 😊
For all viewer this was only a test bed to prove concept I am in the process of making the drive assembly a one piece 3D print as opposed to superglue bits. Once the final modification is completed and proved I will post another video. By the way videos from a mobile isn't easy so excuse the rubbish camera work 😮
First car test run and it is so smooth and quiet😅
Hello, im building this model too. What did you use to waterproof the model? Thanks in advance
Hi epoxy resin was used to seal all joints then sprayed with silver waterproofing paint.😊
You have to be aware of the displacement calculations the ship will float slightly below the marked water line so it has to be made wider at the top. Ensure you balance the internals correctly to ensure stability.
This deserves more likes and views
Very true, even though Bismarck is overrated af, this is cool
Alright I have one question. How the hell did you make her float? She's metal. What sorcery did you use?
It ain’t meant to float.
Hi sorry I have not replied but missed your post. Used epoxy resin to seal the inside joints and sprayed over inside with marine varnish and sprayed outside after masking with waterproof German Navy hull brown from model shop . Hope this helps. She is still floating fine with no leaks. Regards Mike
gerçektende harika görünüyor! fiyatı ne kadar ? 😅
Sorry for delay in reply just noticed your message I don't go on here that often. It cost £1876 GBP to complete and convert to RC; and 2 years of my life in build time. It is now for sale and the only Hachette Metal 1:200 scale Floating RC Bismarck in the world. Regards Micheal
@@michealweir314 dear michael weir, thank you for your reply. I'm building a 1:120 scale bismarck. I'm making it from wood. I will make an RC model real shooting system for cannons. and i want to sell it Let me know if you have any advice.
Hi Vieasan, I recommend using Arduino UNO Microprocessor these are cheap, available from Amazon or EBay; easy the program and loads of programs are available free and open source. You can drive all the turrets, radars, lights etc using Stepper motors, DC mini motors or micro 9g servos with this method. There are many tutorials on Arduino programming and how to make the correct circuits. I will help you if you need help. Regards Micheal
It looks really nice, keep up the good work!
Thank you 😊
Wow, that looks really impressive! Well done 😊
Congratulations! Very impressive conversion!
Thank you Boian it was difficult to work out where everything needed to go but the sealing of the Hull and component installation was relatively easy. The model weighs 9.4 Kg and floats to her waterline and is extremely stable. Unlike most scale models because of her weight she doesn't rock about. There are more videos on TH-cam of her internals.
@@michealweir314 I watched the videos. I also have seen quite some videos of the assembly of the Agora Bismarck. Quite a complex build of quite a complex battleship. I know it has a lot of metal parts. Turing it into floating RC is super cool. Do you consider adding some microcontrollers (Arduino etc.) onboard for some animations, sensors or sounds?
I've not much experience in rc convertion of ships but would really like to converte my hachette into an rc modell too but have no idea how to do it. Could you please make a video in which you explain what you've done? That would really help me a lot to get knowledge 😊
Hi I would be happy to help you with the conversion, probably the best way for this I'd for you to communicate via email. micheal_weir@hotmail.com I will mention that the conversion is not easy however the one in the video is for sale. Regards Micheal
Bit noisy on the sound because had mic gain fully up sorry 😞
I have added a few short videos but intend to do a full length one soon
I will be releasing further videos regarding this conversion if anyone is interested
