In my (opinion) understanding, ADA is heartless till she met Leon, such a naive and pure personality he has. No matter love and hate they have. They care for each other, watching over each other from a far to make sure both are fine. Complicated love that we'll never understand, tough situation. After saw the whole RE6, Ada is a key for the man behind of the mess.

For some reason Capcom doesn’t make our fav ships cannon and it makes me sad. Like Aeon and Narumitsu.... get both of these ships married already (especially those two gay lawyers)
@ aeon is canon already to an extent. Making it full on relationship level would probably make it one of the best selling games, I ship them (as does majority of fan base) but I’m not even being biased by saying that. Look at how much better 2 remake sold than 4 remake. 4 remake kinda back peddled on their relationship which was dumb imo. However in re 4 there was never actual romance between the two other than flirty exchanges to begin with. They don’t kiss or anything in it like in 2. But in original, Ada is always leaving Leon notes with a kiss mark on them and Leon talks about the part of me I can’t let go thing which cements he still has feelings for her. Excluding those things basically eliminated the romance almost completely from the game. It’s weird the same directors of 2 who really focused on their romance which is part of why 2 remake did so well seemed to want to eliminate it from 4 and make all the villains and side characters whackier and less likable. They fumbled the ball they got rolling with 2 remake with 4 remake. Also weird that some fans ship Leon with Ashley. She’s way younger and is the presidents daughter. In no scenario does that end up working out. Secret service agent dating presidents daughter would get him in biiig trouble, and eliminate the mutual respect and appreciation the president and Leon have built between 4 and infinite darkness.
