We booked over a year in advance and got a discount. We paid £3800 for the two of us which covered travel, room, all food, drinks (silver package), excursion at each stop and tips.

@@BerkaniMadridista it was mostly dry and sunny. There was one afternoon when it rained and we took the opportunity to have a kip!

@@ellisavitulli3772 There were 4 walks included in the package: Regensburg, Passau, Vienna and Budapest. Not too strenuous and there was an option for less fit walkers. I don't think any of the walks were more than a couple of hours and they were leisurely.

The main restaurant has a large selection of cuisines and we always found something really nice. The smaller restaurants are also good but we preferred the main one. There are three pools and all are a comfortable temperature. One has seats at the bar so it has to be warm whilst you drink your cocktails!

That was probably a blessing. I'm a postie in Penrith/Eden Valley (moved up from Kent) and believe me it gets very busy around a lot of these places normally!! We actually have a night booked at this hotel this week just for the change of scenery looking forward to food/drink etc

@@ChrisKayeHavingFun so looking forward to finding a few nice hotels around here to have the occasional mid week break. Will let you know my opinion after my stay. Inn on the lake also is very nice have been there few times for lunch, but prices per night are very high, same as Lordore falls

I had my own gear. I cannot remember seeing any available for use on the beach. It IS offerered when you go on trips. If you like snorkeling it is worth taking your own gear.

Didn't visit the gym. Excursions are easy to book: rwo offices next to the coffee shop. There is an excellent buffet restaurant with loads of choice (it was our favourite restaurant). So you can mix Mexican with Italian with sushi with...

...excursions seem very expensive compared to European holidays.

I don't think there is any rush to book anything. Restaurants are easy to book but after trying them we found that the main one was our favourite anyway and didn't need booking. There is a tui office and another travel agent next to the coffee shop and it was easy to book anything we wanted. There are guys on the beach every day selling boat trips so that's not a problem either.

Hi, we did not gave diamond but the choice available to us was more than enough. We did upgrade our airplane seats which was worth it. Room was very good. All rooms have a sea view. Never had a queue with more than two or three parties ahead of us. It is very remote so most trips are expensive.

It was pleasant. If the sun was shining a tee shirt was enough. Evenings needed an extra layer. It wasn't warm enough for the beach. We didn't have any rain.

It wasn't windy in November. The sea inside the reef (all along section where Ambre was) was calm.

I'm not sure what you are asking. I guess the best answer I can give is: when you go out of the back gate you cross the path to get to the beach. There are sun beds and umbrellas but no bar. There is a pool bar inside the grounds. Anyway, enjoy your stay!

If you had a room on the ground floor I think the Ambre would be suitable for a disabled person. There are ramps into the restaurant. I would advise talking to the hotel. For the trips we had a taxi solely for the two of us for the duration of each trip. The cost was around 40 or 50 UK pounds for the two of us (plus any entrance fees).

I don't know. It looked like a small snake but it might be similar to a slow worm in the UK that is a legless lizard.

@@clifffair984 It was inside our hotel block, which is open to the outside gardens. As you say, it moves like a snake. It wasn't very big, maybe 50 - 60cm. Unfortunately, the light wasn't good enough to get a good picture.

Our hotel was pretty full. When we walked into Caleta de Fuste it was averagely busy i.e. Nowhere was packed or too busy but there were people in all the bars and restaurants.

The demographic of the crowd (for a 1980's music festival) was such that the vast majority of attendees had been double vaxed. Covid vaccination certificates were required for entry. The event was outdoors. The crowd was impeccably behaved and very few bodily fluids were passed. After 18 months it was a great joy to do something normal. If you want to wait until covid is gone then you've got an awful long wait. When you say 'as if nothing has happened' well, yes, something has happened - an immense vaccination program has happened. I didn't treat anyone as a god.

@@ChrisKayeHavingFun $475 for the install. I don't know if that's high or low. I have the Duravit Sensowash on one of my toilets, but it's problematic. I'm not sure what the install cost was, but it was $2200 total. For something I don't use.

My phone is not Apple. Its a while since I paired it but I followed instructions in the quick start guide that came with the toilet. Do you have this? Anyway, I loaded the sensia app on my phone; I confirmed the disclaimer in the app; with phone near the loo I pressed dryer and water temp at the same time then the app asked me if I wanted to pair. FYI I cannot flush the loo using the app but all other functions work.

I can't give you an accurate figure for that because I have never timed it. However, with a fully charged battery I have made many five and ten minute recordings without the battery running low.

A tip: I recommend that when you set it up you use 30 fps. In Antigua i used 50 fps and I had problems editing and posting to youtube.

@@jomonkey15 No, I only snorkel. When I am in the water I have the camera on a stick and, surprise, surprise, it is difficult to duck dive with a camera in one hand! So with scuba it will be easier.
