Rode to Hell Gravel Race 2024 (44mile)
มุมมอง 413หลายเดือนก่อน
A new race for the Michigan Gravel Race Series, The Rode to Hell. Starting and ending in the small town Chelsea, MI. This race had it all, crit style ending curcuit, fast gravel roads, and traversing through the very small town of Hell, Michigan. The weather was perfect, 50 degrees at start, warming up to 75. Sunny skies with a little breeze that was not enough to break things up. The Pro Form ...
Moran Gravel Race 2024/33 mile/Front Group
มุมมอง 355หลายเดือนก่อน
The Moran Grave Race is located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and part of the Michigan Grace Race Series. Where most of the Midwest was getting hammered by the hurricane, this part of Michigan had a "blue-bird" day of sunny skies and 70 degree temps. The course had to be the flatest race of the series with only 700 ft elevation gain and on pretty fast dirt. The race was also the smallest i...
Lord of the Springs Gravel Race 2024
มุมมอง 4142 หลายเดือนก่อน
The Lord of the Springs "Gravel Race" in beautiful Yankee Springs Recreational Area is one of the most beautiful areas of south Michigan. This race is more of a mountain bike race with a scattering of dirt roads. A niche race on the Michigan Grave Race Series full of sand surprises and flowing single track. The Pro Form Elite Gravel team consisted of Judah and Tyler with both placing in the top...
Fast Fitty Gravel Race : Speedy (Front Group)
มุมมอง 4762 หลายเดือนก่อน
Fast Fitty Gravel Race in Charlotte, MI is part of the Michigan Gravel Race Series with all proceeds are given to The House of Promise in Lansing, MI. The race was wet, muddy and a slow grind. The lead group dwindled down to around 15 guys mostly out of attrition because of the heavy wet gravel roads.

The Dust Bowl is Indiana's premier gravel race (maybe Indiana's only gravel race?). Set in the small town of Eminence, Indiana, this race screams Hoosier Hospitality! The promoter and his team do an incredible job with everything! If you are looking for dusty, chunky gravel, this race is it.

Fast Fitty Gravel Race 36 Mile Highlights
Thanks for sharing your video🤙
That D30 race was amazing. Coming back after a crash and long chase. Then going and winning a bunch sprint.
Dope Video! KB and Mo will ride a couple short ones next year. On the weekends where there is no Ultra
Nice spill at 47:30. Got stuck inside his wheel as he cuts into the turn. Thought I had inside room, I was wrong.
‘Neutral rollout’! 😂 Great footage as always
Awesome footage. Looks like lots of fast riders there!
We drove 6hrs through the beautiful mitten of Michigan to pass over Mackinaw Bridge at 9pm Friday evening. Woke to a beautiful sunrise over the lake and a incredible sunny 70 degree day in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We decided to race this event at last minute to see if Judah could gain points on a late-season surge by a great athlete (and supported by a great team) Luke Hubbard of the Michigan Dirt Rider Team. The points system in the Michigan Gravel Race Season is set up with 16 races starting in March and ending in October. Each of these races have the same points available. The biggest race of the calendar, Barry Roubaix to the smallest of the races, Moran (this race), you earn the same 500 points for a win, then 495 for second, and so on. I don't know of any state that has organized such a series for Gravel Races. My home state (Indiana) has one legit gravel race, The Dust Bowl. Kudos to the Michigan Gravel Race Series promoters and all the race promoters for each of these races! www.michigangravelraceseries.com/

Great Job Steve! great job to the rest of the team too!
36 miles? Is there an adult version?
Looking at the website, it appears there is a 50 mile race and a 165 mile race. Given your comment, I assume you'll be signing up for the latter? 🤔
Hardly a war, following wheels all day.
It was a war up front between Turbo and MDR. Good fun attacking each other. Steve put a couple good digs on us too. :)
great race
I found that last turn @ 31.2 miles to not be well marked at all and my group did the exact same as yours. Otherwise great race and well organized event! Good racing.
lol love the impromptu sprint with Nate
Seems like he's doing pretty good at racing to me! 🤣 You can't win them all!!
That Turbo guy is hot
...and Robert is a pretty good bike racer!
@@uptheroad1I hope so, he sucks my wheel all summer!
Looking for comments on how Judah can improve his race tactics. I was able to discuss with him a handful of tactical mistakes throughout his race. Of course, as his dad (even though I have 30+ years of racing experience and a former Cat 1 on the road) the tactical recommendations may not be viewed as strongly as coming from someone else (if you are a parent, you understand).
Pro Form had 3 riders in this race. I got popped on first climb (embarrassed) and the second teammate lost contact with lead group around 8 mile mark. Three MDR (Michigan Dirt Rider) teammates in the front group, everyone else had no teammates. All season, MDR has done an incredible job working as a team...kudos to them!
Powers fine. Take the climbs with the least amount of power as possible unless you are attacking to form a break. Have a plan, how am I going to win? Never lead out a bunch sprint from 400 meters unless it is for a team mate, you will not win. Oh, and work on that jump.
Nice work! That bridge effort after Sager was monstrous!
Have to admit doing some hate watching of fat bike riders getting dropped. WTF with chasing a teammate at 1:04:10?
Nice video. Had a bunch of riding buddies race. Can I ask you how you got VIRB Edit to do the overlays. I have a VIRB ultra and been using the software for years but recently it's broken. Software depends on IE and Google maps does not support it anymore.
Patrick, VIRB is not very user friendly. My map doesn't work either. I have watch the video and guess where we are at (a corner or something). Not the best system but all I have.
Damn. I picked the wrong wheel for the sprint. 😎. And I knew he’d be the one to follow. Nice race!!! Are you guys coming back next weekend?
Congrats to Judah! Way to go Steve!
Thanks for posting the video! I saw Judah hammering just after Sager, and I just couldn't hold his wheel. It's so impressive!
How early did you line up? I lined up 20 minutes early and had no chance to catch up to the front.
I was in the 30 and got in line 30ish mins was 3 back from the line, way to far up for me lol
What happened nearing the end among the front three riders? Seems like the leading rider just let off the gas before the park entrance
Great upload! Much appreciated! Worked a treat for my indoor sesh. 👌😎
Thanks for racing! We hope to see you back next year.
how did you finish?
Great footage Steve and Judah! Can’t wait to get back out there ASAP!!!
Awesome highlights! Thank you for doing this
