Only Breath, Being Human, Created in Six Days – Dr. Farnoush Safavi
Breath forms the foundation of life, linking scientific functioning with spiritual connection. Poetry, song and prayer are all modified forms of human language that make use of rhythmic pauses, and this forms part of their captivating and healing qualities.
Dr. Farnoush Safavi brought together the astronomical and earthly elements of the previous presenters of this October 20th event by addressing the big questions, and keeping us steadily inhaling and exhaling air as we do so.
(This post is part of Sinai and Synapses’ project Scientists in Synagogues, a grass-roots program to offer Jews opportunities to explore the most interesting and pressing questions surrounding Judaism and science. Dr. Farnoush Safavi is a research oncologist working in private industry, and is also a member of Tehillah in Bronx, NY.)

Trees, Fungi, Earth, and Us - Howie Waldman
มุมมอง 1914 วันที่ผ่านมา
Following Dr. Savin's discussion on Mercury, biology teacher Howie Waldman brought Tehillah back to Earth with a discussion of the interconnections between plant and animal (human) life. Most of us were taught in school that nature was a harsh, "eat or be eaten" competition between species and genes. Newer research into plant and mushroom life, however, offers a more nuanced picture. Though dea...

Do We Have Any Advantage Over Machines? On The Existentialist Implications of Generative AI

One of the biggest anxieties prompted by the proliferation of generative AI has concerned the ways in which it can replace human creativity. If artificial intelligence can problem-solve, imagine, and even create "games" of its own, what is the role of the human mind and soul? Rabbi Mois Navon gleans ideas about these questions from the deep reaches of hundreds of centuries of Jewish literature,...

The Stories Our Brains Tell

Our brains contain 100 billion neurons that make 100 trillion connections. These neurons have both digital and analog properties. Beautiful and necessary. I am a long time follower of Sinai and Synapses. Thank you, Rabbi Mitelman. One of my most profound childhood memories is a Sunday School class with Professor Parker (faculty MIT) teaching astronomy and 'heavens' from the perspective of a telescope. Somehow it related to Torah. Then he compared our significance as a species to a grain of sand showing us how sand is formed. It impacted my lifelong connection to the ineffable and the meaning of a spiritual connection. Dr. Parker also fed my imagination through the science of the skies and the miracles of life on earth. I am grateful.

I have a PhD in the Life Sciences and I’m a religious Jew. There’s not many of us..but I think if we could effectively incorporate and educate these areas as a true “partnership” (in the name of Rav Sacks ZT”L) to our broader community there would be even more people choosing a passionate, observant Jewish life whether they were raised religious or not. The Yeshiva and the Academy should be on same “campus” of human experience. The fact that they typically are not - is an enormous tragedy. We need more Jews who can translate and understand a sugya of Gemara or be a Darshan on the weekly Torah portion but who also can go run a PCR reaction or contemplate the latest developments in theoretical physics.

I need to think but the way I was shown is that “ the evil one”that ok nobodaddy , Devil, Prince if the Air etc. in his truest origin and current and future “ form” is the complete negation of the “ life force”, “ consciousness(?) soul etc. there’s no sex, no drugs, no Rick and roll.. no laughter, tears, joy, pain, nothing. Just some bodies who after having taken” the mark” are like lifeless zombie sort of automatons. The bodies move , ut there’s nothing. And I mean Nothing .. at all. There.

Noah's Flood is always mentioned as the one and only flood. But there have been several and more will come, knew Plato. Our planet Earth suffers from a cycle of seven natural disasters which are mainly characterized by a huge tidal wave that is pulled all over the world. It leaves a wet and muddy surface from several feet thick. The cause of these disasters is the ninth planet in our solar system that orbits our sun in an eccentric orbit. That means that planet 9 is close to the sun and its planets for a very short time. It crosses at a extreemly high speed. The gravtitational pull of this crossing lifts the water of the oceans "higher than the highest mountains". On other sides of the planet the seabed falls dry for some time. The approaching planet is depicted in many ways and we have eyewitness accounts that tell us many details. And the bible shows us much details about these disasters. To learn much more about recurring floods, the cycle of civilizations and its timeline, ancient high technology and alien deities, read the eBook: "what I know about Nibiru". Search for: know nibiru

I was hurt and heart broken when a very big problem occurred in my marriage seven months ago, between me and my wife . so terrible that she took the case to court to file a divorce. She said that she cannot continue to stay with me again, and she said "I don't love you anymore" So she took her things out of the house and made me and my children passed through several emotional pain. I tried all my possible means to get her back, after much begging, but all to no avail. and she confirmed it that she has made her decision, and she never wanted to see me again. So one evening ,as i was coming back from work ,i meant an old friend of mine who asked of my wife .So i explained every thing to him, so he told me that the only way i can get my wife back, is to visit a prophet to know what is really behind this issue, because it has really worked for other people too. So i never believed in spell, but i had no other choice than to follow his advice. Then he gave me the Email address of the prophet. prophetehiagwina@gmai l.com. So the next morning, i sent a mail to the address he gave to me, and the prophet respond the following day and assured me that i will get my wife back the next day. Hopefully I believed since my friend recommended me to him, ,so we discussed and told me everything that i need to do. Then the next morning, So surprisingly, my wife who didn't call me for the past 7 months, gave me a call to inform me that she was coming back. So Amazing!! So that was how she came back that same day ,with lots of love and joy, and she apologized on her mistake ,and for the pain she caused me and my children. Then from that day ,our relationship was now stronger than how it were before ,by the help of a prophet . So, i will advice you out there if you have any problem contact PROPHET EHIAGWINA, i give you 100% guarantee that he will help you.. Though I'm not the one for whom this webinar is intended, I found this great. Regarding the first talk, There are situations where individuals externalise the decision making. I've always found it surprising when a girl puts so much emphasis on what her friends opinions are, about her potential date/mate. The reviews of her friends can essentially make or break her relationship. I think it's a small defense against a person's own foolishness stemming from the idea of a potential romance.

The politicization of HCQ is only one aspect. Another major aspect is the role of Big Pharma. Since the cheap drug HCQ is not make them earn any money. For one of the negative fraude studies published in The Lancet it turned out the authors had financial ties with Gilead Science. The latter of course expecting to make $$$ on Remdesivir. It is obvious that the more effective HCQ would destroy there profits. 2nd example is the Oxford University Recovery study. This study on HCQ was designed to fail. Very sick patients were literally killed by administering dangerous doses: 2400mg HCQ on day one. Note Oxford University is sponsored by Gates Foundation. Using HCQ in an early stage of infection together with Zinc/Azithromicin degrades this virus to an innocent infection making any vaccin development redundant. What makes me sick is that for these big companies obviuosly don't oppose on making money over people's lives.
