I'm so new to this game but that looked like a lot missed at some points. Was that soft kill or just the risk of the guidance systems?
The thing about semiactive homing is it requires a radar illuminator, which has a burn time, then goes out to cool down. Some of the misses accidentally salvo'd during the illuminator cooldown. This was actually an extremely rudimentary torpcello, better exist including what it is now, with 16 cmd/arad(radar) 8 cmd/decoy and 8 cmd/self-screeningjammer s3@9km along with 54 cmd/hoj(radar) s2@10km basically to be lethal within 450mm range was the goal, but not to be caught within 450 range not firing lethally.
SAH with WAKE VAL? not really needed, but you could set the SAH to ACCEPT and it will work without wake validating.
This fleet has since been updated from its initial configuration. I think it was in case of illuminated chaff or reactor bloom, which happens a lot with torpcello kills. Spending some time on the balance conversation/shipyard neb discord really pays off, now my torpcello is lethal within 10km and has won several multiplayer matches. The escort is also now a bloodhound tug with only one of the extra antennae.
Always good to see more people make Neb content. Keep it up mate.
