@@katinka01114 idk man i was just excited for act iii 😭 my thought process was: “i can feel the light shine on my face” - Isha dying in the explosion. “keep the memories of who i was before” - Vander’s last thought to Vi & Jinx before he fully transformed into Warwick “will they still let me over, if i cross the line?” - i thought of Jinx starting the revolution and Vi/Ekko not accepting HOW she does it. but that never happened. since they completely got rid of the piltover-zaun stuff in the end. “i’d rather you not be here for, what could be my final form” - i thought of Vander, again, turning into Warwick completely. he didn’t want Vi & Jinx to see him as a monster. “i can’t fight this time now” - i couldn’t think of ANYONE who didn’t want to fight from act i & ii EXCEPT Vander. his whole thing in s1 was that he didn’t want to fight anymore. (until Silco put his kids in danger of course). i know now that the song was meant to be about Viktor, but i didn’t in the video. i had not watched act iii yet when i was recording my reaction. but still, in the show they actually had a nice Vander scene when the lyrics “keep the memories of who i was before” was playing. it was memories of Vi, Powder, and Vander all together :,)

@caramelfudge17 I absolutely get it, its one of my favorite things about the song, about how many characters and situations it can fit. Makes for some FANTASTIC edits in many of my favorite fandoms. It was just funny, cause you noted how it was promoted with Viktor and then noted the spotify cover....and then kept repeating, i wonder who this is about. It was adorable.😁😂 Have you seen act iii since? The song probably makes more sense then :)

@@katinka01114 oh yeah definitely i can be very unobservant when looking at something for the first time xD yeah i actually watched act iii right after this video. when i heard the song over the scene in the show it made a lot more sense for it to be about Viktor! especially with him saying goodbye to Sky and wishing Jayce would join him.

@@sakshampal6730 dude, i wrote like a whole mini essay to your comment. i gotta know if you REALLY wanna hear my thoughts cause i couldn’t stop yapping lmao to sum it up, i was very disappointed with episodes 8 & 9 but episode 7 was a masterpiece. the only thing i’m truly happy about is that Ekko, my favorite character, had a complete story and was very well-written throughout the entire show. they sidelined a bunch of characters at the end but Ekko has always been sidelined, so i guess that’s why his story was the only one that worked so well. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@caramelfudge17 would love to hear ur thoughts, especially in a similar video to this. I agree Act 3 was extremely rushed and disappointing, especially feeling like Vi was completely ignored in it, and we lost the Vi-Jinx sisters - Piltover-Zaun plot. Although I like it better now after a week, as the story does make a lot sense after you fill in the missing pieces with headcannon. It's still a 9.5/10 show, just needed a few more episodes to settle things down and focus on characters.

@@sakshampal6730 ah dude i’m so glad someone thinks the same! i also hated how they just sidelined vi & jinx’s story when they promised that they would finish it! same with the piltover-zaun stuff. that’s why i started watching the show! it had a grounded story with grounded characters but then the last episode was like a fricking marvel movie. man, i thought about making a video but i ended up just deciding to keep this one up so people would see my excitement about the show rather than negativity lol i miss when i was excited for act iii instead of being annoyed by it like i am now 😭 oh well, i am looking forward to what they do in the future though. the people behind the show are still some of the best storytellers i’ve seen recently. i just hope they learn from their mistakes and give themselves more time for their next show. at least every other episode in arcane is a 10/10. it’s just the last one that wasn’t good…
