Thanks for the vid and info
I appreciate that! thanks for commenting to let me know, makes me happy to know there are others that are into growing from seed 😁
I have never attempted to graft.
yeah, me either, until now because I want to get the cooler atemoya varieties. I'm thinking of practicing on my hydrangeas, they're easy to root, so maybe easy to merge with other plants 😂
I also grew papayas from seeds. I had a lot of success, and got a lot of papayas withing a year. Unfortunately, the papaya trees are so susceptible to frost damage. So the papaya trees I had from 3 years ago died this year. I have younger papayas that are also producing now, but I they (and their fruit) get frost damage even at around 37 or 38 degrees.
that's so cool! if you have time, you should do a video on all the one-year-to fruit- plants you've done!
I like this video. I just started growing guavas from seeds. I just moved them to one-gallon pots earlier this week.

Mine have full sun, they were planted decades ago and have produced many years, but the last two years even though I’ve been cutting them back and adding fertilizer. The figs have been small and not getting ripe. I need help fast.
interesting, that sucks! your issue has many variables, so hard to say, but check out this post.... and I would take cuttings of your fig tree as backup www.lsuagcenter.com/profiles/rbogren/articles/page1597952870939 you can also try an online forum where you can share pic, like reddit and see what others' experiences are... good luck!!
just an update! I've started some more sugar apple seeds using the paper towel method to show everyone the roots since for the potted ones, we won't be able to. Very excited! Stay tuned!❤

How 'bout that tall beautiful purple 'ball' on a very thin strong stem.....it's part of the onion family - I think its called alum (sp?)..... Gorgeous! Your artichoke is Phenomenal!!! I never knew how lovely they were before harvest ❤ Will Like and will subscribe. (how are you pronouncing 'artichoke'?) You're not saying the T - -
thank you!! ...you're thinking of "Allium hollandicum/which I think is commonly refer to as alliums) I actually just looked up artichoke because I was curious of its family and interestingly enough, it's part of the daisy family 🤨 these are actually pass harvesting (though I never tried it at this stage), i'm planning to collect seeds from these as well. haha, you're right! I never noticed it before. I think I just skip the -ti- entirely, thanks for pointing that out! 😄❤️❤️❤️
this is my third year growing globe artichoke, I will post a long form video soon on my experience growing it ❤ in zone 7 meanwhile, you might like my "No turn compost in a trashcan - Finished compost RESULTs (4 months later)" th-cam.com/video/I3oTN5dGJEA/w-d-xo.html

It's really e-z, I do it, & in less than an inch of water!😂 Rosemary roots this way, in less than 2 weeks..
nice! I used to fall into the group, where we just have rot instead of roots 😂 what level of maturity do you use (green stem, semi-woody, woody?) I've only done rosemary in coco coir with rooting hormone 😅 had a lot of success.
Want to avoid mosquitoes? Mix rosemary in for cuttings!😉

I found that once it bolts, it’s pretty much done. Even after pruning off the parts that have started to flower I find they plant doesn’t really grow or produce new leaves for me! Very aggravating
besides weather factors that may cause it to bolt again, have you tried a hard prune? for me, I also notice they like semi-shade and have been able to harvest all summer long
you might like to see my "No turn compost in a trashcan - Finished compost RESULTs (4 months later) th-cam.com/video/I3oTN5dGJEA/w-d-xo.html
didn't mention, but I moved them to shade 😂 check out my "How I germinated guava, rambutan, pomegranate, asian pear from seed - food forest update" th-cam.com/video/kMtDCcV3XMY/w-d-xo.html
When Basil shows flowers the leaves will be more bitter as the plant is and needs to be trimmed of its leaves for useage. It will also do this “bolting” as the season changes; you can re root them stalks or let the plant fully bolt to get seeds again for free 👍🏼
Thanks! I also use basil with flowers as a cut flower and rubbing the leaves is cherry on top! the smell!!!!!!
Basil is the easiest plant in the world to root
But that doesn’t mean that it’ll always work thanks
haha, you're very exact!
Thanks for the solution
I’ve taken Thai basil from the pho place and rooted it. Basil is really easy to root.
it is a hit or miss with me, but I found mature stem is best! pho basil are usually thai basil and usually they're pretty mature now that you mention it! but even with those, I used to have trouble too because I picked the young stems 😂
Thanks for the tip! God bless you!
you're welcome! :)
I’m here for the hot knife, that’s also a great tip!
haha, yeah my life is forever changed, this was especially helpful since I'm moving toward growing fruit trees in containers now
Hot butter knife
haha! idk why that made me laugh, but just FYI- I'm not using standard American butter knife, please don't use the ones without handle or burning can occur!

Do like 2m on top bottom and 1 minute on the sides it was over cooked on the top under cooked in the middle
The nostrils do the talking. BING-BONG
haha!
most expensive foods are not actually worth it waygu is an exception, worth every cent
How is it now? New sub here Stay connected Thank you
It’s doing good, no flowers this year though 😌 I might put it in the ground next year to help sped it along
Just want to update you if you’re trying to decide if you should replace or repair… I eventually got a new expandable hose… my toddler and husband was rough with the water pressure… so if you’re the only person using the hose maybe it’ll work out or if not, maybe just get a new one to save on time repairing 😅😅😅 I got the same expandable hose like before.
you overcooked it
You have to cook wagyu to a higher doneness for the fat to melt
That is actually what my husband concluded as well! We will do this again when prices go down - fingers crossed!!!
We also sunk 5 gallon food grade buckets with holes all around the sides and on the top and bottom into our garden, filled with leaves, manure, veggies scraps, etc. and a few worms and just let them go to it. Added more veggie scraps, garden litter and leaves through the season. The worms come and go into the garden and the bucket eventually is full with beautiful compost.
Thank you! I’ve heard of people doing that but haven’t gotten the chance to try it out. Good to know it works for you! I will definitely try your method this fall 👍😁
Lol me too
Im same as you, it was dying then it came back alive, forgot about it and it grew back so long but leggy, I cut them today n transplanted like 10 in dirt, but i think i need to cut them shorter, mine are still kinda long.
I love it when they look dead and then resurrect, 😁 it is the best garden surprise!
