If the gospel is the word of God, then Islam is wrong, because the gospel contradicts the Koran. If the gospel is not the word of God, then Islam is also wrong, because the Qur'an confirms the inspiration, tradition and authority of our scriptures.
You have it very mixed up. The Gospel that was given to jesus is a true book that the quran confirms it as guidance and light the same as the torah as mentioned in 5:40-50 of the quran. However those books were not preserved even according to chistian and jewish scholars confirming what the quran mentions about some or many of the people of the book (Jews and Christians) distorting and changing the words of god for financial gain. Thus you have the books as they are today. It is mentioned to us Muslims that to not deny nor accept what are in those books unless the contradict what has been revealed to us as that is truly falsehood. I emplore you to do your own research and actually read the quran and even the gospel and others books rather than just assuming without knowledge. Quran 3:64 Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “O People of the Book! Let us come to common terms: that we will worship none but Allah, associate none with Him, nor take one another as lords instead of Allah.” But if they turn away, then say, “Bear witness that we have submitted to Allah alone.”
In very simple words, the gospel was never preserved, through editing, translations and misinterpretations the bible became full of works that were not the word of god, only a few verses match with the Quran and those my dear brother, are the few remaining intact verses. IF YOU 100% BELIEVE IN ISLAM, I CHALLENGE YOU TO READ THIS : ***Contradictions of Quranic Verses*** -According to Quran 7:109-112, after the pharaoh witnessed the miracles of Moses, the Egyptian chiefs said "This man is really a clever magician..." to the pharaoh but according to Quran 26:34-35, it was the pharaoh who said the same sentence to the chiefs. -According to Q.3:124, 3000 angels helped Mohammed at Badr but according to Q.8:9, there were 1000 angels who helped him. -According to Q.8:65, 20 patient people can defeat 2000 enemies and 100 patient people can defeat 1000 infidels but according to Q.8:66, 100 patient people can defeat 200 enemies and 1000 patient people can defeat 2000 enemies. -According to Q.88:6, there is no food in hell except bitter dhari but according to Q.44:40-46, people can eat fruit in hell. -According to Q.39:3-4, Allah can have a child if he wants to but according to Q.6:100-101, it is impossible for Allah to have a son. -According to Q.2:253, some messengers had a higher rank than others but according to Q.2:285, it is said that the messengers were not differentiated. -Q.20:10, 27:7, and 28:29 tell the same incident but the words in the sentence that Moses said are not the same. -According to Q.7:54, the earth and heaven were created in 6 days but according to Q.41:9-12, the earth was created in 2 days, forming the earth and mountains in 4 days, and the 7 layers of heaven in 2 days. -According to Q.5:44-47, Allah sent Isa Al Masih to confirm the Jewish Torah. If that is true, then why do Jewish and Christian scriptures have similarities that are different from the Quran such as which son did Allah order to be slaughtered? In the Jewish and Christian books, it's Ishaq who was ordered to be slaughtered, but in the Quran, it's Ismail. If Isa (Jesus) confirmed the Jewish Torah, then the Christian bible should say Ismail was the one told to be slaughtered like the Quran. -According to Q.32:5, 1 day for Allah is equal to 1000 years for humans but according to Q.70:4, 1 day is equal to 50,000 years for humans. ***Science Mistakes and General Knowledge*** -According to Q.36:37-39, at night, the sun is at its resting place. If it so, then why is it that when it's night in one place, the sun is still moving in other part of the world ? Apart from that, it's said that in the morning, the moon is also at its resting place. Then why is it that when it's day in one place, the moon is still moving in other part of the world ? -According to Q.36:40, the sun and moon orbit around the earth. In reality, the earth orbits around the sun while the moon orbits around the earth. -According to Q.91:1-4, the moon follows the sun. Again this is wrong. -According to Q.51:49 and Q.36:36, all creatures were created in pairs. In fact, there are creatures that only have one sex, such as the Mexican whiptail lizard, viruses, bacteria, fungi. -According to Q.6:38, all animals live in groups. Not all animals live in groups such as polar bears, platypus, chuckwalla lizards, blue whales, snow leopards, jaguars, pandas. -According to Q.71:16, the moon illuminates (The Arabic word is "Nur"). In reality, the moon reflects light from the sun. -According to Q.86:6-7, semen is produced between the backbone and ribs. In fact, semen is produced in the testicles. The Quran copied the outdated fact from ancient Greeks. -According to Q.22:65, Allah holds the sky so to prevent the sky from falling to earth. Wrong. The atmosphere cannot fall to the earth. In fact, Earth's gravity prevents the sky from floating into space and not the other way around. -According to Q.13:2, Allah raised the heavens without pillars. Wrong again. -According to Q.25:45-46, shadows are moved by Allah. -According to Q.25:53, Allah created a separation between fresh water and salt water. In reality, there is no exact separation but there are waters with different levels of saltiness. -According to Q.16:15, mountains prevent the earth from shaking (The Arabic word is "Tamida"). This is wrong. Mountains are created from tectonic shift of the earth, not to prevent the earth from shaking. This is why earthquakes are more commonly found in mountanious places. Medieval Arabs thought that earthquakes were earth's vibrations that were held by mountains to prevent too much shake. -According to Q.67:5, stars were created to be missiled at Satan. Medieval Arabs saw meteors falling so they thought they were stars thrown by Allah like missiles. -According to Q.54:1-3, the moon was split into two. -According to Q.6:125, the human chest shrinks when in the mountains. In fact, human chests enlarge when in the mountains. Medieval Arabs misconfuse the lack of oxygen in high altitude as makin chest shrinking. -According to Q.67:19 and 16:79, birds can fly because they are held by Allah. If that's true, then why can ornithopter vehicles, in which the wings are flapped like birds, can fly for so long? Apart from that, if birds are held by Allah while flying, then why do many birds defecate on the Kaaba ? -According to Q.4:23-24, it is forbidden to marry mother, daughter, and sibling but no mention of cousin. Cousin marriage has been proven to be the cause of the high rate of defective births among British of Pakistani descends. -According to Q.5:116, Christians take Mariam as God. First of all i wanna say read the whole Quran and you will understand it better so you wont have so much questions. Quran 7:109:112 & Quran 26:34-35 Just beacause they say something to the Pharaoh doesn‘t mean the pharaoh can‘t also say that to them. So your „contradiction“ makes no sense. Quran 3:124 1000 angels this talks about Badr. 3000 angels talks about Uhud NOT BADR. Quran 8:65-66 I really don‘t get where your contradictions is. Allah clearly says: Certainly, here are verses 65 and 66 from Surah 8 (Al-Anfal) of the Quran in English translation: O Prophet, urge the believers to battle. If there are among you twenty who are steadfast, they will overcome two hundred. And if there are among you a hundred [who are steadfast], they will overcome a thousand of those who have disbelieved because they are a people who do not understand. Now, Allah has lightened [the hardship] for you, and He knows that among you is weakness. So if there are among you a hundred [who are] steadfast, they will overcome two hundred. And if there are among you a thousand, they will overcome two thousand by permission of Allah. And Allah is with the steadfast. He speaks to the belivers first he says this verse with 20 people and then he says bc he knows that Humans are weak so they stay like motivated: Now, Allah has lightened [the hardship] for you, and He knows that among you is weakness. So if there are among you a hundred [who are] steadfast, they will overcome two hundred. And if there are among you a thousand, they will overcome two thousand by permission of Allah. And Allah is with the steadfast. You should really try to understand and think bro. If you can‘t understand it, go to a mosque which is near you and ask them. Quran 88:6 & Quran 44:40-46 This is not true. I opened my Quran and searched for it. It doesn‘t say anything about these fruits. You should open A Quran and read it from there. Do not read it from the internet bc i found this verse but in the Quran it says something different. The people try to manipulate you bc its the true. Quran 6:100-101 Allah doesnt say that it is impossible bc for allah my Friend nothing is impossible. Herr is what he says: ˹He is˺ the Originator of the heavens and earth. How could He have children when He has no mate? He created all things and has perfect knowledge of everything. Where he says that its impossible ? He says HOW HE COULD HAVE CHILDREN but you and i know how thats meant. It is meant like how could you say that the god the almighty has Children? Its disrespectful to a God to say that he has Children. So its not easy to search and write this needs hours. I hope you got this. For the other ones my brothers and sisters in Islam i hope you that you can look for the other views like every person for 2-3 verses and answer, so its easier for everyone and for the one who asked, you should go to a mosque and ask but i am 100% sure that you dont care and you only want to take our belive but Muslims are built different. @@samirselimovic9951 The logic of 8:65-66 doesnt make sense. 20 can overcome 200 and 100 can overcome 1000 means 1 can over come 10. But in verse 66, it says 1000 can overcome 2000 so it's like 1 can overcome 2.

In the question it mentions mate. Why did it mention mate ? It implies that the question implies the impossibility of Allah to have a child without mate.
