Id be curious to get an update on how this pen held up as they got bigger.... My kids raise show pigs and we are looking for an easy/inexpensive solution for a backyard set up and this one looks great, but could you share any updates on how it held up and/or anything you would have done differently? Is there any pig digging problem

2 years out grocery stores are still limiting and are now overpriced, I get beef and pork whole animal from a butcher and raise rabbits. MERICA

You should go with the metal trash cans...they are the best...can keep outside as well...never had and issue with moisture in mine...sorry was typing while you where beginning to show...keep up hard work...new subscriber

You could run a slanted roof with a down spout to a pipe in the ground to the pond so the water just goes right into the pound. Just a idea for ya. Great channel

For the watering situation take fat pvc pipe and hang it on the fence and stick one of those push in water nipple things on the bottom of the pvc pipe and they can’t spill there water or dirt it up so you will only have to fill it you’ll never have to dump it out or nothin

55 gallon barrel with a nipple waterer will work great

Also need a lid to keep rain or snow getting into automatic feeder

Throw a cheap basketball or soccer ball in with them.. it’s comical to watch them play ball lol

They make these metal nipples and you can hook them to pvc pipe and then hook it to a big drum at the end of the barn and it will catch the rain and water the hogs

What are you gonna do when it rains ? And what about rodents? They will steal whatever they please!

Get the automatic nipple drinkers. That’s what we use and it works well

FYI..I would clip the zip ties so they don't poke the pigs eyes ..also would definitely treat that wood for the pig feeder...that's not outdoor wood....if it gets wet it will swell and deteriorate

They will need shade outside the hog house when it gets hot. The dont sweat so the can overheat easily.

I got two pigs on my farm and one is male and female and when your pigs get bigger they will start rooting like digging

You guys should get a few cows for beef

The pig should be on full feed right now why they r still small. Pigs are one the smartest animal that will stay on full feed and know when to stop and not over eat
