Ahh Cancún! Awesome place! Which hotel? I wish I had some vlogs to show you but I wasn’t videoing when I went last year. It is a long flight about 11 hours on a slow wind day, but worth it when you get there! Thanks for watching and I hope to see you again 😃

@ so it’s 10 hours, we are staying at VivaAzteca by Wyndham which is supposedly one of the better on the resort. It’s the first time my family have been outside of Europe, but also the longest flight they’ll have ever been on!

@ yeah 10 hours most likely. Difference is very minimal , when you’re in the sky nothing changes whether you’re 2 hours or 10 hours. And the B787 is one of the safest aircraft in the sky. You really have nothing to worry about 🙏

I completely acknowledge your comment. I did want to defend my video in case anyone else agrees with you. My drone has a 4x zoom on the camera which makes it seem a lot closer than it really is. The aeroplanes are a lot higher than my aircraft also, given they’re about 3 minutes away from landing, my drone was at about 90m, to factor go arounds ect. I took precautions to make the flight safe and it only lasted long enough to spot 5 planes as you can see in my video, at LHR run rate mid summer, that’s about 4 minutes. I’m sorry you didn’t enjoy, it was just meant to be a bit of fun for my channel.

@ fair play for such a informative and responsible reply. I actually work at LHR and am only to aware at how facts (such as yours) get twisted and issues specifically to do with drones get blown out of proportion. Last year I did a commercial job which required FAA approval and restriction lifting by DJI. The job was fully detailed and a risk assessment was submitted also the drone was tethered as a secondary fail safe. Within 10 minutes of the jobs completion I discovered that I had been reported by 3 different people. Luckily I had the paperwork that clearly showed the approvals. One member of public stated that I was flying very low and extremely fast along the main road…. They subsequently retracted their statement.

Thanks for the recommendation. What does it do differently to the DJI fly app as that tells me when I’m flying too high ect.

@MattGoesGlobal it gives you all the restricted flight zones airports prison's SSI area's. Some flight restrictions are put in place temporarily that DJI doesn't include like air show's. It's not connected to your drone in anyway it's basically like Google earth but it shows you in detail all the zones that are restricted
