Would have definitely benefited from a longer cut. More scenes on the surface, extend the sequence in which they learn to transform. A few more scenes showing the cracks in Orion and D16's friendship. 9.5/10

the quintissons will kill you regardless if you are innocent or guilty. It is why that one character said "spare me this mockery of justice." Galvatron said this is bad comedy at star scream right before he killed him at his coranation.

I hated how they basically forced Hot Rod to become Rodimus even when there was no reason for him to because the WHOLE REASON for this story was that Optimus didn’t die! They were basically trying to make it seem like Rodimus Prime is a canon event which defeats the purpose of the whole thing. It’s contrived.

I thought this version of Beast Wars was really interesting, but I couldn't stand the main artwork. The artist on this issue was great though. If the entire series had been done with this artist, I would have liked it more.
