Love this video. I've slept outside like that when I was in the Army , stationed in Germany, years ago. The hardest part was climbing out of that warm sleeping bag.

The simplicity of gasoline/petrol fuel is that it's available everywhere If they won't sell/Fill a canister at the station, you can always dreaw some from the car. Propane/Butane not everywere(You have to be prepared beforehand). Diesel(So-so)Kerosene(Also So-So, but still plenty at any Super/Market)

All these videos are the same. Setting up camp, sleeping, etc. Just once, I'd like to see something interesting, like, maybe someone's face getting peeled clean off the skull by a bear or a Sasquatch or something. Now, THAT would be good viewing!

Camping under trees is not safe u have snow falling of the branches and the branches can also break.

What an awesome trip. Very important history in your region for WW2 that is often overlooked. I like the fact your GPS is your backup...map and compass will always work. No concern with batteries or signals.

Riktigt bra video! One thing I wanna mention is never, ever use a stove inside an enclosed (or even open) tent, as it can easily accumulate deadly CO gas which is odorless and unnoticeable until its too late. Many people have died while camping due to carbon monoxide poisoning from using stoves in enclosed areas.

Great info. What do you reckon the entire set-up weighed? I agree on the sleeping system, one should never compromise there. If there is a need to lighten the load, I switch to titanium / aluminum pot and in summer use alcohol / wood stove instead of gas burner.
