Fishermans Village / Hlið
One man's vision becomes a whole village!
When in Iceland, you've just got to check out the magics that Johannes Viðar Bjarnason or Joi as most people call him, has been creating with his Fishermans Village / Hlið.
Fisherman's Village is a cozy small village that consists of a few guesthouses and an exceptional restaurant by the seashore in Álftanes.
It's really a dream location for groups.
Joi is a man who does not only have a vision and a dream - he makes his dreams a reality.
For the rest of us to enjoy!
At the end of the video - Rúna comes up with a straightforward, yet simple idea - what do you say? Will you join us?

It’s unfortunate they allowed these beasts in beautiful Iceland. I’m so sorry for you.
Visited Iceland in august with my girlfriend and spend a few hours in Neskaupstadur. We had hotdog's and visited paskahellir. After that we went for an nice bowl of fishsoup. Easily one of the best memories that stuck with me from our trip.
Gorgeous. Passed up a chance to visit Iceland -- regret it ever since...
The question shouldn’t be how Muslim friendly Iceland is, but how “Icelandic values”-friendly Muslims are?
Answer: Not at all.
@@Leif208bruh stop being rude
@@Shexigawra77 It's true, though. Muslims have proven their values are not complimentary to Scandinavian values and in fact, conflict. For example, in Scandinavia there's such a thing as freedom of speech and religious (or lack thereof) freedom, which means, you can even burn scriptures. However, if you burn the Quran, it's the death penalty. When Scandinavians have done so, in order to prove the point, there are literally violent riots with the calls of death to those involved. In Scandinavia, such a thing is just looked on as someone burning a inanimate object that doesn't affect my or anyone else's religious belief or values. See how it works?
@@Leif208look who is answering...A person from whom his/her housemates don't give meal😂
@@Shexigawra77 "bruh" isn't it true? Muslim values are completely incompatible with Icelandic and Western values. Combined with the biggest inferiority complex in the world, makes for a horrible disaster. Muslims NEVER assimilate but will be a source of future conflict, even civil war.
Don’t you know these are the enemy kick out the men seize their women folk as your whores and play things 💥

This video is made for wealthy muslims that are interested to go for holliday to iceland.. if you want to establish in the north -> canada
why not go Saudi?
Well this looks better than any Canadian or north Alaskan town that I've seen
racism or any against islam in iceland all around globe
How about fasting and duration?
Love it :) RAM was the word you were looking for 🐏
The Problem is Muslims will rather die then assimilate. The Taxi Driver down in Texas is a good example. His two daughters do what every American Girl does. Start dating. This Man Murdered both of his Daughters because they dated American Non Muslims. You know where they found the Taxi Driver hiding out after over a decade on the Most Wanted List? Living with his Son.
Very Nice 😄😄
OH just a TASTE Please!
A magical place 🌈🌈
Beautiful place.. beautiful video..
Wow so happy to see that Icelandic peoples are so innocent and loving...and they respect other religions. Love from Pakistan ♥️
I think the term your looking for is bloody naive 🤔
They're just naive and not yet fully aware. As they become more exposed to Muslim, they'll become more aware and they won't be so welcoming. Also, it's socially very unpopular to appear to be "racist" in any way but to only appear to be welcoming and inclusive. In reality, it's mostly for show and they would really prefer Muslims not come to Iceland.
Islam is the truth
The flat earth is reality and alla controls the sky.

@@navneetshyam1335 “a Saudi Arabian cleric”. Bro I’m dying of laughter. Where does it say it in the Quran? WITH CONTEXT
Is Iceland a Muslim friendly country? SHUT UP!
Please stop pretending to believe in elves. You are embarrassing us all.
Many Icelanders naively think that they can have unlimited immigration and their way of life WON'T CHANGE. This is NOT TRUE. What makes Iceland Iceland is not the land, resources, or even it's laws. It's the People. If you change the people, Iceland will change, and likely not in a way that native Icelanders, of all different political and cultural beliefs, want.
To those Icelanders whose values include compassion, tollerance, open mindedness, and human, especially women's, rights, who also favor unrestricted immigration from muslim countries, you are inviting a people whose values contradict and are the complete opposite of what your's are, who, if presenst trends continue, WILL REPLACE YOU AND YOUR VALUES IN YOUR OWN COUNTRY. When they have enough in numbers, they will impose their values, which are the opposite of your values, on you. You're committing cultural suicide.
Racist found 😂
@@keyboardwarrior6591 Is it "racist" to acknowlege the truth of what has already happened in other Scandinavian countries? Besides, it's more about culture than race. Do you deny that Muslim culture clashes with Nordic Culture? They could not be more incompatible. Besides, the reason why Muslims are even wanting to leave their own countries for Europe is due to the wars and conflicts in their own countries, caused by their own crappy culture, WHICH THEY WILL BRING WITH THEM TO OTHER COUNTRIES. In France, French military leaders recently submitted to the French government a warning about the coming civil war, due to the overwhelming influx of Muslims. In fact, they said unless something can be done, civil war is inevitable (it's actually already too late for France).

Yes, because we don’t like people who believe it’s okay to “kill non-believers” and treat homosexuals like shit

@@island_q1537 Have you ever read the quran do you know that in the quran it says that if you miss treated a non beleiver the prophet mohamed wont be on your side and if you killed a person or a nonbeleiver it is as if you killed a 100 people concluisionaly killing any person and mistreating a non believer is considered a major sin and we dont agree that being homosexual wright but we still respect their opinion btw im talking about all the people ik and btw my highschool teacher used to be gay and all the students respected him.

Why don't you, instead, stay in your own country and make your own country better?
@@Leif208why is it that your people can go around anywhere but when its somebody slightly darker its suddenly a problem? Go cry in a corner
@@erdolf28 It's not just because of being darker. There's no such thing as superior or inferior races (though people can have preferences). It's because your culture is inferior and conflicts with Western, particularly Scandinavian, culture. Also, it's not sudden. Virtually unrestricted immigration from Muslim countries has been happening in the other Scandinavian countries for several years and the people are fed up (increased crime, including rape, gettos, more and more on government handouts). Also, I agree, Europeans shouldn't have gone into your countries.
