Always enjoyed this song in my worship time with the Lord and the lyrics have been very relevant to my faith journey of dying to self and laying down the things that entangled me. So I thought I'd record and share. Hope it blesses you!
Galatians 5:24:
"And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires."
Matthew 16:24-26:
"Then Jesus told his disciples, "If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?"
If you haven't yet given your life to Christ, I urge you to repent of your sins and trust your life in the One who gave you life. There are dark days ahead. I believe there's never been more important to seek the Lord for yourself and be sensitive to His leading in this hour. For the days are dark and a storm is coming but the Lord will lead, guide, provide and protect His children even in the midst of the calamity that is coming if we seek and trust in Him. For the kingdom of God is at hand! And Jesus is coming back soon for His bride! May He find us with our oil lamps lit, trimmed and burning bright at His return!
