It’s tricky. Trying to control your throttle through the turns. Less mashing the gas saves. And less turning the wheel. If you find yourself having to crank the wheel to get rotation that can burn your tires up. DJ Yee-J on TH-cam has sone good tire saving guide videos.

@ what steering ration and offset and brake bias do you use?

@kds.21 Usually run a 1:16 in trucks and other cars, cup cars 2:64 pinion. Offset varies based on what the default is, really just use what feels comfortable. Bias I usually tune down pretty far that way I don't give it too much brake if I need them. Maybe a click or 2 up from what the minimum is. But I have a load cell so it doesn't take much pressure for it to register.

@ ok in my defense if you watch from my view I go to the bottom. He goes to block. So I go middle and he comes back up lol. Yea audio was a problem. I record gameplay and audio together from my video card and my audio was super low so I had to splice in audio from the camera which sucks. I’ll have to fix in next one.

Yea the 8 minutes seemed excessive but I guess that front wheel got jacked up.

For this track I ran a 16:1 which is what I usually run, sometimes for short tracks I may run a 14:1

Haha that’s an oddball track which I guess a lot of people struggle with. I was having a pretty good streak of non cluster f races but I guess I was due.

@RyCamN7 maybe the track is too wide, it gives the driver too much room to manoeuvre and consequently over adjust into spinning..... usually into or around you 🙄😅

Yea the “dogleg” is the defining feature of the track where you can significantly cut the run into turn 1 but it requires funneling back in at a narrow angle and cars come in to hot then skip out to the wall when they get understeer. Usually collecting other cars on a restart.

Yea, I'm aware multiple times I have told myself to go figure out how to do it and just have not. I will try to get on that because it is very cool I have watched others with it. Anything to stop hearing Claire say the same thing 1000 times haha

I did a little. As it registeres easier now just resting my foot so I had to dial in the dead zone a bit. But not too much needed.

Not a tripod but it does have mounting holes in the four corners so a projector stand would work. But not a standard tripod.

On amazon, it gets the job done but is def entry level and clogs a lot but for the price to get started I enjoy it. I would never drop big money on one without ever trying it so this let me learn a bit about them.
