Welcome to the Acorn Precision Piecing System
These are cute, but I would NOT make them or give them to ANYONE who had small children in, or visiting their home. It is an attractive nuisance for those small children, who would think it was a toy, OR a dress for their dolls. Attracting them to the stove/oven, where pulling on the towels, or trying to untie it, COULD lead to a scald or burn, as something hot could fall on them.
What a great tool! 😊
How cool!
Very cute.
Great ideas
It is our pleasure! Let us know if you use any of them :)
Thanks for these ideas!
You are most welcome!
Are the cutouts for the template 7" for the waist 5" for the arm hole and 3' for the neck hole? Its a little blurry for me to see.
So cute!!
As I was looking at your pattern, I was just wondering how many inches is it from underneath the arm down to the bottom that was not noted
Great idea, thanks for sharing
I am Tina Austin and I was the one that started the tea towels there wasn’t anyone making them and I started then everyone wanted to start making them. They are really cute. I’m glad you like them.
Where do I access the template for the dress top
I just purchased a bottle of Bo Nash and I wondered if you have ever used it to put both the front and back on a large quilt? I am interested in a wall-hanging about 40x50 inches. It is an applique nd will be taking lots of twist and turns while I quilt it. Thanks, I am eager to hear from you.
If you did the "Skirt" before doing the bias binding on the neck you could do it while the top is inside out and then "turn" it through the neck-hole, iron it down nicely then do the neckline. That way you can sew the skirt on with the raw edges all lined up and one straight stitch catches all three layers.
If you put the start of the bias tape in the center/front you can cover where the edges meet with a small ribbon bow 🎀!
Do you increase the pattern by 1 nich all over or by half inch.. TIA
Beautiful Ty for sharing ❤
Dommage que vous ne montriez pas comment il est possible de l'accrocher à la poignée du four.. Amusant projet ceci dit !
Press before you turn and then press makes it better.
I learned so much, the quilting part of quilt making is a mystery you’ve definitely helped me to get started. Thank you. Looking forward to more of your videos.
You look so beautiful ❤️ I like you very much.
I absolutely loved your FM tutorial. Perfect! Thank YOU!!!!
I love this! This is so quick and easy to whip up a set of really cute coasters as a gift for someone.
Such a great idea! I'm making a bunch for Mother's Day gifts for all the Mothers in my family, and some friends too. Thanks for this.
Thanks for this!
I tried to use the link and it didn’t work. I really need to know where to buy these things. Thank you
Excellent video So informative.
May I ask what kind of machine you have ? It’s so quiet ! Have a quiet setting on mine but it’s not that quiet. It looks like it sees so smooth.
@ N.JeffersonLTD. I just found you last night so glad I did. Thank you ! I was watching some quilting for beginners vids last night.
Excellent video! You’ve taken some of the mystery out of quilt marking. I’m a “returning” quilter as I haven’t quilted in over 30 years. Gee, a lot of new stuff to catch up on.
What kind is thread is she using.
You can use polyester or cotton - it really does not matter. Whatever you have on hand will be fine :)
Just f young you! Liked and subscribed. Love the towel.
This is SO SO useful. I never knew any of this. Brilliant! ❤
Love it! Thank You ! Have a Blessed Day!
Love that t-shirt
I have been a Homemaker’s for 46 years. We have 2 grown children with 4 granddaughters and another on the way! Surprise for us but not for our son and DIL. I love everything Homemaking! Thank you for all that you do. God bless you and your family.
Thank for the pattern
Pettern you posted is different than the one you are using. thats confusing
No .... it's the same pattern. Why do you think it's different?
So cute
How do you hang it?
@@farmhousegardens hang it with a nail or command hook on your wall.
Very cute.😊
Just bought one of these at a kitchen shop and was planning on copying, but here is your video, just in time!! Thx!!
Where’s the link????
It's in the description :)
A neighbor gave me a whole bag of these cause she relized she will never do anything with them. I want to make her one of these for Christmas. Thank you so Much for the ideas. I love the measuring tape look.
You can use a lighter and just run it on the end of the ribbon. Not enough to burn it but it will colorlessly melt the edge
Yes - I just recently learned this trick! I did not know it at the time of making this video.
Why wouldn't you just stitch it from the back because you are covering it with the ribbon? Wouldn't it be easier and much more accurate?
It could be done that way, too :)
I would run two rows of basting thread which will give you an even seam to attach to towel.
Thank you for this tutorial. I’ve given two as gifts & working on a third. I’m a lil slow making them but your guidance was much appreciated! Thanks💕
