You didn't lock the band clamp all the way down You need a deep socket. You should see the band and bolts come together and the stainless band should deform and mold around the pipe.
I beleive you should be using a sealant between the exhaust pipes and the band clamp.
E20ST is the part # or E22ST depending on which one you prefer.
