@@SimSeff Also echt Schon keine Lust mehr drauf
stabil
Looks like good fun! Great intensity from minute 26 on :)
Where can I buy these I've been looking everywhere and can't find them.
www.simraceshop.de/ or www.germansimracing.de/shop/category/319-vrs/ or direct at their shop vrs.racing/shop
@@SimSeff Is it possible to swap out the throttle spring for a stronger one with more resistance ?
@@KHMR1SNV atm I dont think so - I believe there are dampers available to kinda do the same
@@SimSeff Honestly from what I've seen they're probably not worth the money they cost.
Hi man, thanks for the review. Still no software to this day ? I'm considering changing my Sprints for the VRS pedals, but not having a software is a bit of a bumer for me, i find the software on the HE's really convinient, and like the fact that i can have a max input decided by load in KGs instead of just "feeling" in the in game calibration, specially because i tend to push way harder while racing than when i'm calibrating. Also, it's good to max clutch max input through software for standing starts racing series. So if there is still no software i don't know if i'm ready to make the move on the VRS
hey mate thanks - they do have a software now since some months - for pedals and the base - software has more than enough features - you dont miss a thing there compared to heusinkveld software
@@SimSeff Thanks a lot man
Just wondering if you still recommend the VRS over the Sprints? Do the VRS have a pre-load? It doesn’t look like they do
I absolutely recommend them ! yeah you can configure pre load - there are youtube videos how to configure that
@@SimSeff awesome thank you! I have the t300 and TLCM load cells at the moment. Working out if I upgrade my pedals or get a DD wheel first
@@rover1374 definitely - I used the LCM lately for a 24h in a venue in milton keynes - there are good for the price but feeling like toys compared to vrs especially with all the adjustments you can make
@@SimSeff always something to upgrade! Gives us something to look forward to o guess
comparing between v3 and vrs pedals? huge difference?
completely different world and class
Just curious man, how has the pedal been holding up now after a year? I'm interested in buying them, but the only two people I could find reviews were you and Dan Suzuki.
absolut no brainer go for them - best pedals I ever had re rigidity and solid build. I bought heusinvkeld ultimate+ as well but I was a bit disappoint what probs I had with the build - lots of crack noises etc. so I had to return the ultis multiple times. I never had these issues with the VRS. Just plug in USB do calibration and race.
@@SimSeff fuck yeah. Sounds aswsome mate :)
its like brand new really no cracking squeeking or other noises - i really recommend them
@@SimSeff .... I have the Ultimate+ and im not totally convinced how the feel braking on the rubbers works... It seems that a spring is more accurate. My doubt on the VRS is the accelerator.... that spring shape seems less accurate compared to the Ultimates accelerator.
@@MrJMHP i tried HE ultimates (non + version) and throttle on VRS was very smooth, just HE throttle was more bit hidraulic feeling (also very smooth).
Is the vrs dampers kit worth it?
havent tried them yet but I like dampers personally only for throttle
@@SimSeff ok thanks :)
Sehr geil. Geschwindigkeitsgefühl ist echt gut. Chapeau.
The audio is terrible, well beyond acceptable.
Is the brake pedal softer than the Sprints? I'm not liking the elastomer based brake to be honest to stiff for me
not at all - the blue one is maybe softer but the red one ist definitely stronger
Not sure if its me but I am struggling with the sound
Same
Verry verry good review! I was looking for on YT exactly that material. Thank you a lot :) I sold out almost all parts my setup. Now I'm looking for what to chose for new one, because I'm mising for iR :( I See that I want to VRS pedals. maybe VRS DD could be beter choice instead Simucube sport... btw. VRS setups are the best for me :)
How's the software with VRS? And compared to HE?
its pretty much the same - very easy to handle - good thing is they combined the pedal and wheel tool in one
I move both lol vrs is killing it with price/performance ratio lol
I think that extra bolt in that slot on both pedals is likely for the optional dampers you can add
sounds right - read this in other forums as well
Love my GT-1 Evo. Love it even more after installing the new sim lab inverted pedal rack.
Thank you for the look! I'm on the reservation list for the 2 pedal set & I have the same rig as you, so this really helps!
Nice and informative review mate! Thanks for the effort! Best Sibo
I dont really like how that throttle spring is bending.
Any better solution? They want a ”friction-free response” of the pedal.
@@kezman82a oh, so it is designed to be a little curved?
@@rtimmins7212 yes. ”Rodless throttle redesign to completely eliminate friction” virtualracingschool.com/academy/hardware/vrs-directforce-pro-pedals-pricing-and-availability/
@@kezman82a Do you own these Pedals, if so, do you like them? I was thinking about getting the MECA CUP 1, but I might step it up a notch.
@@rtimmins7212 no but I will buy them when they get in stock in a few days :) I got the HE sprints now and is not 100% happy with the brake feel. But the sprints is very good. I think Meca is better then the Sprints, but VRS even better :) the top guys in iRacing drive with VRS pedals. Joshua Rogers and some more guys.
Thank you for your review. I am currently already on the waiting list and will also switch from the sprints :) What kind of shoes do you use here in the video? Do you use these also for driving?
PUMA Herren Active Gaming... www.amazon.de/dp/B08KGXZWM7?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share Yes I am using them for driving - awesome shoes feeling is superb and you can use them as „house shoes“ the entire day the material is very breathable
Hello, how long did you have to wait for your pedals to ship?
not really maybe 3-4 days
The pedals look good and I like what VRS is producing. I am on the reservation list and looking forward to getting this set to go with my VRS Direct drive. Thank you for the review.
How much was shipping/postage costs? I have some on pre-order, thanks for this helpful review.
I paid around 25€ to Germany
Thanks for the review! The close up shots made it very easy to grasp the structure. Do you think the change from sprint pedals will improve driving stability, etc.?
tbh I think so but have to verify - especially for GTE is think it make sense because of the higher force dynamic range to dial your braking in to the max before you lock up
Thanks for the info!
short comment - the third ethernet port on the controller is for the clutch pedal nothing else - sorry for confusion
Thanks Stefan....Great review Buddy, very informative.....Your voice sounds fine as well btw lol.....Kenny.
thanks appreciate it - i mean who likes his own voice ? not me
@ 11:00 seems like a lot of brake pedal travel.
Can tune to reduce travel in the cam system. Personal preference I suppose.
its the clutch seems ok in my eyes
@@3ller No this is the brake pedal. He doesn't have a clutch
Yeah, but you can adjust it with the rod above the spring to have very little throw if you want.
Thank you for this review. Can you tell us how the pedals feel when driving ?
I must admit much better to me than the sprints because its somehow more smooth and even without a difference within the actual breaking process - I mean sure it gets harder and harder to push but kinda more comfortable. feels like its more efficient in just breaking instead of having a sort of resistence in the breaking process caused by the pedal and the friction of the metal or plastic/rubber parts. there is no play just pure efficient break application
@@SimSeff Thank you for your feedback.
@@SimSeff is it progressively heavier brake the longer you press the pedal? Did not think it was possible with just a spring only. One more question, you see no value in buying pedal dampers kits?
@@kezman82a yes somehow they made it work it must be possible because of the moving end piece where the spring is fixed in. It bending backwards. I didnt really like the dampers on my v3 thats why i did not order them. maybe somebody can tell if they are worth the money - hopefully some of the pro reviewers get them soon
@@SimSeff Thank’s a lot. :)
