All Planets in the Solar System with Astromaster 130EQ
Disclaimer: If you are planning on buying this telescope, this video was to demonstrate the best abilities of this telescope and to show that cheap, beginner telescopes can still get excellent pictures of our solar system. I would not expect to get images like this if you are a beginner, and most of the objects shown in the video would be near impossible to see just with the mount and eyepieces the telescope comes with. This is why I listed the extra equipment I used, because most of the objects were much better off imaged using tracking mounts and barlow lens. This doesn't mean you still can't see good views with the telescope, but it doesn't mean everything will look amazing either.

The bonuses at the end was a great idea. Would love to know what other notable sights eg the Andromeda Galaxy looks like through a 5' scope
Very informative and as you say the stuff noone - most notably the thelescope makers - don't tell you. So many people spurred on my dubious claims expect far more than they will see. People, particularly beginner astronomers, should be taught to manage expectations and be appreciative of the scale.magnificence of what they do observe.
Thank you
Those rainbow blinking flatearther stars are fake , as expected
This is one of the most hated telescopes among amateurr astronomers... It has a spherical mirror instead of a parabolic one, and it is unusable at higher magnifications.
1:49 Saturn cosplaying as Uranus 💀
When someone tells me "Uranus is difficult to be seen..." I totally agree...
you are very helpful
Not all planets in the solar system! Where is Earth???
this telescope is too weak to capture Earth because Earth is in different galaxy
Very good, thankyou!
Thanks for sharing
Hoy hice tomas del sol por primera vez y observé varias manchas solares
I am a beginner and planning to buy one. But can anyone elaborate, why every telescope starting from hundred to thousands of bucks ... is a BEGINNER TELESCOPE?
Where's Pluto 😭
NASA: 😏
Thanks
Thanks 🙏 for the great work and video 👍🙏🏆🌌🌠🔭
An excellent insight into the capabilities of the 130eq!, very enjoyable. Thank you...
Thank you so much
ya se dieron cuenta que en el minuto uno 7 hasta el minuto uno 11, pasa un objeto???
Is there lore reason why those plans in sol system
you caught some kind of moving object between 1:00 and 1:10 middle left of screen
This is excellent. Wish I saw it before I got my 130 EQ (so a week or two ago), not that I'm not happy, Now I know what's realistic. I saw Jupiter and a few of it's larger moons for the first time tonight. And got some great detail on THE moon. I'll certainly be coming back here for reference. Thanks again.
Wake up. Flat earth exists
as someone who polar aligned this telescope, flat earth is hilariously dumb. if the earth was flat, I shouldn't have to polar align to track objects
@@WISDUMB2-cf6zg you have been lied to your whole life. Wake up
@@mikealchin525 why would anyone lie about the shape of the earth, and when exactly is the stage in education that the flat earth revelation would be made? because almost every scientist knows it is round, so they all must be lying. When do they learn? And why would they lie? And like I said, you can literally align your telescope to the polar axis of Earth, it is the only way to track objects and it destroys earth being flat
@@mikealchin525 Peak irony, coming from you. There is no flat Earth, never was. 🤣💀
Only in your imagination
oh and i think you don't need expensive cameras. just find a nice DSLR, also used of course. don't need something that is named asi or something. be creative and you will be rewarded.
yo people. first of all, look for used equipment, not new. if you are a beginner and low budget like i am, do this, you'll find equipment that costs less than half of new price. please just don't throw your precious money out of the window. you take care of yourselves my brothers and sisters.
What I would suggest is spend 90% of your budget on the mount. You'd probably get great photos with a $50 scope on a $1,000 mount.
Horrible telescope
1:32, I suspect that random star is Callisto, since it's similar brightness and distance :)
Thank you!
To get this to actually look good you have you to an $800 mount because the mount is too shaky and a $200 astronomy camera along with software.
Give me a suggestion that i want to buy a telescope under 30000 indian rupee which one should i buy to viewing all planets and some nearer galaxies???? Can u please reply
Even Uranus is out of focus. Is that the best you can do? Focus man focus!!
Thank you for making this video❤🥺
What passed through the moon when u had used the ASI- (left hand edge)
Hello, wonderful video, especially the moon, with a lot of detail. As for the planets, I am not very convinced, my friend. In order to see the planets in more detail, what is the appropriate telescope? Thank you very much.❤
Will view from Sky Watcher BK1309 EQ-2 Be the same as this telescope?
How powerful of an eyepiece did you use on Neptune? That is awesome!
Can you see the moon clear and bright as this picture with this telescope starter kit?
How did you take the images?
Hi Im thinking about buying this telescope the astramaster 130eq MD because it's a reflection one and I already own telescope a refractor one a 6 inch meade one it gd but I want something Abit more better details etc do you recommend this telescope before I buy it ?
very nice pictures. thanks, i hope you add more videos
Any idea what that was the flew across the face of the Moon at 1:00 ? Around 8 O'Clock
I have the 130mm Saxon eq 900mm focal length telescope and I agree with this video. You can get better images of Jupiter, Saturn and Venus if you take a video and process.
Good video but all of these pictures can be vastly improved
can you see some nebulas or galaxies too? like andromeda galaxy?
Can somebody tell me what lens is good i have a celestron powerseeker 70az and it came with 4mm 15mm and 20mm lenses
legend, great video.
What 3x barlow did you use
Nice job. Some muppet critics .... but it's the internet. That's to be expected. Thanks for posting!
At 1:01 minutes of this video what was the round object moving towards the moon surface at the bottom left of the screen 😳
