As a fellow tele skier it great to see someone rippin it out there with the heel free! Love the vids of big mountain alpine skiing but teles, there just really nice and if you are a tele skiier, you know the feeling :)

The irony! In seeing other video's from this same event, I get the idea it was pretty cold at Marley in the Mountains. Hell, they could've performed "Coming in From the Cold" right after this.

Also were you guys using beacons? Was any thought given to the terrain trap that you were riding into? Just curious, interested in this for a avy course case study.

Can you guys offer any info about stability tests done before hand, what type of layer the slide slid on, and if point you both end up at was your safe zone?

Thanks for taking me back to Galena, Danny; if only in memory, and if only for a moment. I'm far from home, and far removed from making turns: it's good to see even just a glimpse of a morning spent correctly, and a life correctly lived. Keep the dream alive, bro; always. They might call it ski bumming, or a pauper's existence, and wonder why; or they might more graciously call it "ski ambassador," or whatever, when they are trying to be polite. We know it in truth to be the life of kings.
