You are not an animal.

Contrary to what you may have been taught in school, you did not evolve from primordial ooze. No, you are much more complex than that. You are a gifted human being, capable of overcoming incredible odds.

You are not an animal, you have been blessed with a gift. I don't know what it is, maybe you haven't realized it yet, either, but it is your strength. Your identity. It is what you are good at. If you are like me, maybe you've been focused on what you cannot do. Stop. It is unproductive. Trust God with your weaknesses, and thank Him for your strengths.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights. So use these gifts to the best of your abilities, and in so doing, help make this world a better place, especially for those closest to us.
