I'm an average guy doing things around the property with limited tools and intelligence😂. I expect people to occasionally learn and occasionally say "why didn't he just...?". I also LOVE employing the gals in my life as camera-ladies!...it really makes it so much more fun.
If you have a video request, let me know in a comment! I'm happy to help...otherwise just filming whatever I'm doing or thinking of. Clearly, I also like to hear myself talk! If you like to hear somebody tell stories, jokes, sillyness, or rants...you might like this channel! My other channel, Mr. H's Bits-o-Learnin, might interest those looking for a somewhat contrarian educator.

@rjwhitt8753 😂...thanks for the tip! I had them on after using a table saw. 🤔 I don't know though....those signals might be dangerous! 🤣 Thanks for the laugh☺️
I put the cutting edge of the bucket behind the ball of the receiver on my 4 wheeler and left the trencher up and it moves it just fine.
I bought one of these machines 2 years ago. I like the machine but I took the joy stick handles off and had them both bent out an inch ather wize I kept hiting each other in certain operations and I welded the mounting plate for the swing ram because it kept loosing up under the machine. Other than a hyd. Line I pinched off in the swing pivot it's been a good machine.
Thank you sir. Saved me valuable time and money. Amazing.
Happy I could help!
How many quarts does it take?
Testing my memory! Think it was about two quarts. If on the level, fill it till it starts coming out the fill hole.
@@Mr.Handy-ish thank you sir

Nice video. I like your idea of flipping the inside panel and use it as the pegboard. Thanks for sharing!
That is not how you roof lol
@@AlexDenham-of7me A lot of the things I do aren't the polished way a pro would, but it hasn't leaked, and looks purty good! Glad I could give you a laugh, though!
@@Mr.Handy-ish for now yeah it won’t but in the feature it most likely will start to.
For future reference, what did I do to cause future problems? So far folks have recommended a different product to tar paper. My nail placement is for high wind (6 nails instead of 4 per manufacturer). I used bare minimum overlap on the tar paper 😬 I have another longer video of this roofing job if you cared to check my work for me. Thanks in advance!
@@Mr.Handy-ish theres a few things i seen that will cause it but i understand your not a pro not everyone is but you will get it down eventually.

Sorry I didn't include that in the video! Let me whip a quick how to together for ya!
th-cam.com/video/YfKVnXmtOVM/w-d-xo.html
Watching these videos, I often wondered why people didn't leave the trencher attached to there truck or tractor. It seems it would give it better stability.
I'll leave it hooked up if it's light digging or I'm on terrain that the trencher can't handle, but the 4x4 pickup can. The suspension on the truck gets pushed around a lot by the trencher, and the transport tires aren't really able to support tough digging. That's why you'll usually see them in digging mode (stabilizer brackets on backhoe side). They provide much better support and cause less potential damage to the machine or its tow vehicle.
I was also thinking keep it hooked up even after changing over to the legs, or adding a swivel foot to come down below the tires. Anyway just me thinking.
@bobreichel In the Army I trained on a SEE Truck. A goofy looking excavating truck that had a front end loader and a backhoe that deployed from the "bed". I've seen them come up on auction, but I figure the upkeep would be too challenging/expensive. Besides, I kinda like the simple design on this machine...even if changing in and out of transport mode is a pain. Anyway, thinking can be dangerous, as my mother always told me! 👍
Flip down supports for each tire is a cool idea.
Not sure completely... but I think most swimsuits recommend NOT using fabric softeners. That might be part of your sludge?
Terrible shows...says the guy making horrible reality TV how-to's😂
Cuttin' deep!
@Mr.Handy-ish You made the joke sooo easy!
For those who just unboxed theirs and are trying to figure out how to open up top like I struggled with, make sure the lever is pulled back towards you in the power off position and then push the metal button in. It’s located above drain spout and beneath the operating lever. You’ll hear a small click sound to let you know the top has been unlocked and then you can just pull the top up and load your clothing.
😂😂how did sale go?
We did okay...but that's with three days. We're so far out from town, it's hard to get much traffic. Advertisement on Facebook marketplace helped. Only one large item left, so that's good!

It is self assembling. You assemble it yourself! 😅

Are the outside lights supposed to stay on after everything is done? Mine stay on. 7:33
The blue inside light should turn off after a bit. No outside lights that I'm aware of other than the control panel readout.
@@Mr.Handy-ish yes the outside lights stay on
If you push and hold the power button, it should turn everything off. Other than that, I have no clue...I suppose you could always unplug as a last resort.
@@Mr.Handy-ish yes the control panel lights are what stay on. I’ve only had it for 2 days. I just didn’t know if
Yeah...ours doesn't turn off automatically. We still like it, though. Here's hoping you have our luck with it!
I like it . Send one to Joe Biden !!!!!
🤭
What gear do you use to brush hog? I feel like 2L is slow and 3L is to fast. I also run a 6' cutter same tractor.
I'm on hills, so I tend to run slow where it's the most precarious. Of course, the grass has alot to say about how fast I'd go, too. Average, not too overgrown I'd run in third. On the flat, with thinner grass, I'd even hit 4th gear sometimes. 2nd I used when slick on hillside or when crop is heavy. Great machine, but I just sold my 2040. Maybe next year I'll have something with 4x4.
Does it drain with gravity or a pump?
It's got a pump.
Here's a trick make a bucket dolly that way you can maneuver it to where you need it without actually converting into transport mode with a ball hitch or pin hitch.
Like a little three wheel tow-behind? 🤔. Cool idea.
@@Mr.Handy-ish kinda like a semi converter dolly except where the fifth wheel would be would be either a basket the bucket could go into or a trailer ball and a bucket clamping coupler
Something to toss around my noggin. The semi dolly style is a nice approach. Basically a mini trailer for the bucket to sit in....trick is to secure it. I'm not exactly on flat ground 😲.
@@Mr.Handy-ish neither am I... believe I gave 2ideas the other would be a trailer coupler you slide on the edge and maybe have a pin boss welded or bolted to the back of the bucket... The dolly trailer is just to handle the weight since the bucket has alot of mechanical leverage downforce... I have the harbor freight version with 3bucket teeth and a small chunk of 2inch 1/4wall fits over my bucket teeth and since I run 2inch couplers on all my road trailers I used a 2inch coupler for a 2inch tongue and 3pieces of 5/8 id 1inch od round tubing to create a pin mount for the back of the bucket just haven't gotten to the converter dolly... I also changed my tires since mine is used almost solely off road to some 22x11-10 4ply high load atv tires on 10x10 4on4 pattern rims since mine is used in blue clay (usually saturated wet) I had issues with the skinny trailer tires sinking to the towables frame these being over twice as wide really are helpful... Another mod for muddy conditions is to bolt some 4in x4in x2ft long wood blocks to the outrigger feet just in front of the dirt spikes this reduces sinking in mud and prevent dragging. If working from a paved surface 2chunks of railroad tie prevent the dirt spikes from contacting the pavement surface (either concrete or asphalt).
@@dodgeme1986truck Thanks for the ideas! I may end up attempting them...or something like them. 👍
After 5 months, does it still work?
It does...but to be fair, I don't use it as much as I thought I would. If we entertained more we would. We may have used it 20 times so far.
I love your cleaning technique 😂
Oh ..the puff of air? ...yep. highly effective, I'm sure. I had to rewatch it!

That reminds me of a rose i bought 3yr ago, i bought it in meory of my late partner Strutty and his proud ancestry to Jebediah Strutt of Belper, Derbyshire was taken into account for the historic choice. This rose(i must find his ID card in the garden) certainly had appeal over all the others. An English heritage bloom, so its colours are beautifully stunning creamy white with pinks kinda like raspberry ripple but more like rasbpberry swirl, looks the type of beauty that would applied to a bridal bouquet, the scent oh wow, absolutely gorgeous rose my senses had ever had the pleasure of, it smelt amazing in the nursery, brought it home and its scent filled the car, anyways we planted it and could smell it on the oher sie of the garden and whilst allowing to aclimatise, our awful gardeners were whipping it with the strimmer(live in a shared apartment complex) i was furious when i learnt that its healthy budding stem had been whipped again th second year so we moved it, this time to somewhere it shouldnt have ever have been damaged, well away from where the strimmer would be used but yes this year it had been assaulted yet again, so now i have had to position it closer to our building in the sunshine and where i can keep tabs on its health,.. iv cried over this rose too many times, the reason for planting was memorial but it was meant to thrive not be attacked, so the re-re-plant was only last week and now directly under my kitchen window, hopefully he enjoys his safe new home that he blooms, Strutts his stuff for summer and his scent fills the air,. Lavender planted closeby for physical and emotional support ! Found typos but i give in, i must enlarge keyboard , much prefer the garden to devices
Thanks for sharing...and I agree about devices.

Sure is. I use it every-other time I mow for the steep hill sections the rider can't get and for small patches. What kind of mowing will you be doing? I love that it can mow higher than Mily rider and the adjustment is so easy. I'm not a fan of the auto throttle...it throttles down too quickly sometimes. Batteries are all still healthy. I use them all year.
@@Mr.Handy-ish I mow flat terrain bermuda turf . Just got mine couple weeks ago . Just wondering about long term reliability , really like it so far especially push button start , fold up for storage. The speed control takes some getting used to , cant find “sweet spot” yet . Thanks for replying!

My power cord on my panda dryer melted recently luckily didn’t burn my house down but I’d need to replace it. Do you think this would be an easy fix or should I buy a new one dryer altogether?
If the insulation on the power cord melted...I have questions! Was it the fault of the dryer or something else? If it was something else, and the dryer was still working properly, I'd replace the entire cord. Make sure the circuit wasn't allowing too much current through. On a good circuit breaker or fuse? Should be rated no more than 20 amps.
I’ll be honest and say it was connected to an extension cord but I’d been using it that way for over 3 years 😅 not sure which of the cords caused the melting but I had to pry them apart. I can’t find anything online about replacing the cord and can’t seem to find anyone that’s done so before
Let me shoot a how-to for you ..IF I can figure it out 😁
I would greatly appreciate that! I’ve definitely changed light fixtures and standard dryer cords before. I’m just a little intimidated here lol
