Can we use 3% fragrance oil in this formulation?
What would be a good Canola oil substitute?
Sunflower oil would be a great one.

There’s GOT to be a better ingredient other than canola. If I’m not gonna cook with it, I’m definitely not putting on the largest organ in my body. Is there a substitute?
Yes there definitely are better ingredients than canola oil lol. The reason it was used is because this workshop is called AFFORDABLE FORMULATING. The purpose was to use very basic, cheap ingredients that most people had on hand :)
Please keep in mind that not EVERY formula will be for everyone. I am sorry if these ingredients are not to your liking. I am taking the time to do this workshop for beginner formulators who may not have many ingredients or funds to make a lot of products. I am not forcing you to use them. I have a ton of formulations on my site with a wide array of ingredients. I cannot please everyone all the time. After this Affordable Formulating workshop is complete, there will be a variety of beginner to advanced formulations with a wide range of raw materials. If you want to substitute any of the ingredients, you are free to do so. Happy Formulating!
