If you put the pennies in a bowl, and add some hp brown sauce, in the UK, not sure what the US equivalent it, mix and leave overnight they will be shiny as new the next morning, just give em a swirl in clean soapy water and you're good to go. Brilliant idea doing it in sections tho.
Can you tell me how you had your “panels” bond or adhere to the floor? I’m asking because it seems to suggest that moisture or humidity can lead to uneven “air pockets” years later. Nothing is actually bonding to the original flooring or sub flooring. Other than that, superb.
