Is the Carhartt Heavy Haul worth the price tag? I think you'll have to decide for yourself. I'll show you my thoughts, give a thorough examination, and give it a heavy rain test in this video. #carhartt #travel #north #face #northface #mystery #ranch #mysteryranch #eberlestock #water #camping #hunting #heavy #haul #55 #duffelbag #duffel #rain #shower #review
Getting Tased by the Garmin TT 15X E-collar!!!
มุมมอง 2412 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video I test out varying levels of stimulation from the Garmin TT 15X e-collar. A responsible dog owner should never subject their pet to something they haven't felt themselves, and should understand the levels they intend to use. When I say in this video "start to train", make no mistake, his training has already been intensive and almost exclusively positive reinforcement. The intent ...
RISE Armament BCG Review and Filing Down Your Charging Handle!
มุมมอง 2.1K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Doing a review of the RISE Armament AR-10 BCG since it seems no one else has. Also a possible easy fix for those jammed charging handle cycles people seem to have to mortar all the time.

    Is this a 007 review or a Buck fanboy video?

    • @kriskodisko
      @kriskodisko หลายเดือนก่อน

      @JustinVanacker the point in bringing out the Buck is the similar blade profiles and what you can get for the money. I don't have any other skinning profile knives like the Benchmade etc.

    you coulda got a bark river little creek 2 in magnacut for less money and its a way way way way better knife

    • @kriskodisko
      @kriskodisko 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's a bit subjective, because the blade profile on that little creek seems more along the lines of an upland knife than anything. And it still is running at the $200+ mark. As it stands, you can get the Buck 113 in magnacut for less than $200, regarding skinning knife blade profiles.

      It's the streamlight microstream. They have them in rechargeable USB models and replaceable battery models (AAA) like the 2 I own.

    Knafs Lulu would have been a better option than the #7 IMHO.

      Never heard of them, but they seem more along the line of camp knife with that blade profile and scandi grind. Not that you can't use any knife for any reason you want.

    Yep, I somehow always stab through my leather sheaths and have to opt for a kydex replacement, especially if I try to belt carry them. I have held out on carrying the batch 006 for this reason, the 007 does fit in my front pocket so I can carry it this way until I can get an aftermarket sheath for it! Thanks for posting your thoughts on it, so far I am very pleased with this knife.

      Yeah, in retrospect, I could see how pulling this in and out of your belt multiple times a day as an EDC could eventually wear down on the leather if you're not paying close attention each and every time you slip it in the sheath

    I have a Rise Armament 1121xr AR10. Out of the box it was a failure to feed/failure to extract extravaganza. I ended up sending the rifle back to R.A. And one of the items listed on the repair notes was custom fitting the radian charging handle. Exactly like you did.

    Thank you for your video!! I just did an Aero M5 build with BA 416R Match Barrel in 6.5CM. 80% billet lower with CMMG premium parts kit. Vortex DB Tac 6-24x50 on top. Figured it would be a good starter build to get my feet wet and try out the LRS game. Boy am I glad I went this route. Nothing but issues and headaches. Excellent learning project. Your video helped me fix my “sticky” release as well. Rise Armament BCG Black Nit just like in your video. Aero standard handle though for me. Same little spot. Did your fix and she is smooth as a babies bottom now. I also had short stroking and no lrbho issues. Fixed that with a 2.5” 3oz CAR-10 in a AR-15 carbine tube. Cant remember the spring off hand. Still will not LRBHO. Stupidly Under gassed is my thoughts. So today I am tearing down to open up the factory .068” gas port on the barrel to .078125(5/64”) and see if that cures it. If not we will step up to wire gauge drill bits, probably a #12. My curse is I like a challenge and love to learn 🤦🏼 Update: test fired rifle. Cycled flawlessly and held open on last round!!! Going to do a little more fine tuning but opening my gas port to 0.078125”(5/64”) did the trick for me so far. Fingers crossed as it was a quick 2 mag 3rds each test. Used brass catch so did not check ejection pattern yet either. Setup is a Rise Armament BCG, Aero Standard Charging filed in radius to clear cam pin on BCG and not cause bind up. Aero M5 upper with 416R BA 24” 6.5 CM Barrel, RLGS, fixed Aero gas block and stainless tube. Factory port dia .068”. Now .078125”. Issues were not stripping next round-lightened spring and buffer, then cycled causing damage to brass and no hold open-drilled port, now cycles and holds open with very small ding on brass approximately 3/8” below shoulder to body transition.

    Did it ever cause misfire issues before the mod?

    • @kriskodisko
      @kriskodisko 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I never gave it a chance as function testing before firing is paramount. This was the first sign to me that something could have been off with the function of my firearm.

    • @Mike54880
      @Mike54880 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Saw your comment and dont mean to hijack but my Rise Armament BCG, same as in video, misfired on first round. Slapped mag in and cycled CH. upon release of handle it slammed shut and bang bang!! Fired both rounds out of mag. Dirty Cotton Rock Sucker!!!! Lol tear it down and check it all over AGAIN and found that the firing pin had some factory debris trapped way inside. So a thorough solvent soak and nylon brush scrub with some compressed air and she now fires and cycles, in that aspect anyhow, as it should. Still have undersized gas port to ream out today. 3oz buffer and stupid light spring wont give me LRBHO still. 0.068” is port size now on factory barrel. Going up to .078125” to start

    Thank you for the video and info. Do you think it was the Rise Armament BCG cam pin was a hair outa spec, or was the Aero Precision charging handle a little outa spec?

    • @kriskodisko
      @kriskodisko 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would say the cam pin of the BCG was probably a little out of spec. I actually emailed RISE to see what the issue was because on an AR-15 build the cam pin is rotated 90° so it would never have this issue. After looking at other AR-10 style BCG's I realized I was wrong. So I'm not sure if it's a extra pressure accommodation or what but it was a relatively easy fix regardless. I just know a lot of people struggle with AR-10/LR308 issues since they're not as abundant as AR-15's.
