The behind the scenes of this film is perfect!
@@MyersMinx Glad you enjoyed it! Was a really fun project to work on!
nice videos
what an extraordinary job! absolutely brilliant
such incredible work, so amazing to see behind the scenes ❤️🔥
Ve is such a legend! I got to study under her for two weeks at Legends Makeup Academy and it gave me the confidence to jump into the film industry as a makeup artist. I loved hearing about how she was first inspired to do SFX by seeing Planet of the Apes makeup at a convention and how she got her first big break on Star Trek. She has been such a pioneer for women in the industry! ❤
Thats awesome!
I was lucky enough to be paired up this year with Naomi for the Last Looks Podcast Mentorship Program! She’s already taught me so much and I loved hearing about how she balances being a mom and working in this industry in this episode!
Love this!
I don't understand why hair and makeup don't watch their work in motion either. I was helping a friend on set one day and saw an actress hit a moment of insecurity and started pulling at the top of her dress between takes. Well, the lining had flipped out visibly at the top and the dress started bunching under her arm, I hopped up to fix it for her and let her know the dress was sitting fine and there was no need to tug at the top (because they're filming close-ups of this girl, she's the main character in this scene). The director freaked and yelled for wardrobe; the wardrobe guy was sitting in the room the whole time with his face in his phone. Different set: Attention to detail is how I got pulled from background to P.A. to Script Supervisor all on the same production. I had no idea what a script supervisor was. I got a brief rundown of what I was looking for from the producer, I read the script, created an outline from the instructions I had been given. Once we wrapped the series, I had gotten the Scripty Bug, now I'm learning what I can to further my skills and acquire more script supervising work and experience.

I've known Josh since he was a young lad, he's such a decent, humble guy, seems blissfully unaware of his so very obvious natural talent.
omg! What an amazing opportunity!
Awesome talk!
Aunty got the surprise that Savannah's Mom was making and I love it so much!
Can I order a wig ?

I know Brian and although I knew some of his story. I had no clue of his tenacity and what he went through to create his own lane. Already respected but now even more. Tip of the hat to you B.
I passed this wonderful message onto Brian!
I haven't listened to this one yet, but loved listening to the SFX makeup ones so far [Barry Gower, Mike Marino etc]. One possible guest might be Miles Teves? He seems like he might have quite a few good stories to tell.
Thank you! Hope you have enjoyed more episodes from the show.
What a lovely man. Great interview.
He really is a wonderful man and brilliant hairstylist. Thanks for listening!

darlings you are Lovely!
Aren't they the best!!
NY mua here - of course we get disposable lip swabs in holding for bg, but do productions there provide those little plastic bags and wax paper palettes? I love this idea!
We prep these in the makeup trailer! If I know we have big background days coming up I’ll prep hundreds of them in advance. ❤
Fascinating. Building on a passion can lead to great things. It’s not going to be easy, but the art speaks for itself.
It's true! Thanks for listening!
nice
The book is awesome!
Awesome book! I have a shirt! 👍
Awesome! The book is amazing. Thanks for listening..
I have worked with Mike and remember first meeting him when I was around ten years into it, and he had just started. He showed me a portfolio as thick as a phonebook with photos of very detailed and advanced work. I could see that he was a superior artist, not only by the sheer volume and variety of his work, but the quality was excellent. He had turned his friend into Morgan Freeman down to every freckle on his face. A fantastic artist and a nice guy.
You should talk about fast hair growth shampoo to double hair growth.
Thank you so much for sharing his amazing life and legacy, it’s was wonderful to listen to.
