F'g heroes o'd'hinterland! Love yo ass!❤
My uncles! They were absolute delights to grow up with!
I love your arrangement and delivery! Cracklin’ banjo!
Buckshot would be proud... Thank you for keeping his memory alive in a newer age.
Should hear more of it . God bless
The crowd at the end was a great shot of a Man truly missed by the Town of Marion. RIP Jack
Banjo was out of tune on base string
But what does it mean?
Mack Haun Music holds the copyright on the music and lyrics.
I love it
The song of the Letter Carriers of Kentucky!
PRAISE the LORD !!!
Good job Tim
I love it SMILE!

COD action
Love the guitar player and love his magic I learned by him and one of his friends
purty good ain't they
Yeah, you wouldn't think the banjo player would be able to play up to speed executing this rolls that way, but I can't argue with the results. Who is the banjo player?
This song is bloody brilliant.. brings back some great memories from my childhood!
nice cover !!
I used to watch WCYB newscasts when I visited my grandparents in western NC. They never fail to produce a high-quality broadcast. Their newscasts look and sound more professional than some I've seen in larger markets. Excellent mural, excellent station!
Luv it!!!
This is a great performance. I love Tater Tate. Surprised to see how great he is on fiddle, since I started out seeing his great guitar pickin' with the Shenandoah Valley Cut Ups. He was multi-talented! The guitar player plays with authority; sounds great. Fantastic banjo player. He has a very interesting way of executing his rolls. Great song--thanks for the post!
Fantastic! I'll be sure to pass your comments on!!!
This is my favorite Roy Acuff song. I ran across this video trying to find Roy's version and after watching this one, I had to go to iTunes to buy their Greatest Hits record. I'm sure glad I found these guys, they play Bluegrass the way I like it.
Owned.
Cool.
Cool video. Funny, my last name is Fecler. Heh, we almost have the last name.
i love VW BOYS < TIM WHITE UR MY HERO :D
@JerrkaZUTUBE Sorry for the delay in response, but thanks for listening!!!
@legboot Thanks! The Lincoln Theater is located in Marion, VA. Sadly, Tater Tate passed away about a year after this video was made. The VW Boys still play though. Join them on facebook! Also try to join them at Mayberry Days in Mt. Airy, NC September 23rd, 2011. You can get more info about that at surry arts dot org
HOW IS IT POSSIBLE that this doesn't have more views? What a great band!
