I don't know why everyone is telling you you did a great job. You were NOT in control...at all. The dog was the entire time. The dog should've had the muzzle on as soon as the first growl came. Your assistant took way too long to even handle the dog. You kept STOPPING the shave every time the dog went for you, even with the muzzle on. The muzzle is to help you CONTINUE without getting bit, not supposed to stop you from doing your job. I've been grooming aggressive dogs for years now and I don't take as long as you both did to correct the behavior. This video is 2 years old. I hope you have gotten more experience since then. Sorry, but I'm not gonna sugar-coat my words for your sake or anyone else's that complimented you because they don't know what they are talking about or just trying be nice.

You did a great job overall. She looks so much better in the end. Two little tips that may help: 1) Do head the last. By then, they are used to the sound of the clipper snd are also too tired to resist or simply, they may be more trusting, understanding you are helping them. 2) when doing the front paws by lifting them up one at a time too long, they serm to get anxious, possibly scared of losing balance. However, once you allowed her to sit on her hind legs, she did not seem too much bothered when you were shaving the right paw. Best wishes for your continued success...

First time to see raw Pekingese. Personally I prefer your style of haircut. In these days, so many people trim dogs looks like humans. Especially in Korea. Whenever I see that kind of dog trim, Alwaya uncomfortable. But, in this video,l feel the catharsis

Maybe you could get the owner to bring in his favorite treat and give it to him when hes being good . Idk if it would work ,but it wouldn't hurt to try.

I've only been grooming for a couple of months but learnt pretty fast that this is the reality of dog grooming. It definitely is a very rewarding but stressful job. It's hard to keep your cool sometimes but you did a very good job. I'm learning a lot thank you!

Wow.. ive never felt so sorry for a dog groom..you are so darn rough the dog is shaking, you're using scissors that don't cut worth a darn..you need to take some grooming classes for sure.

My Jack Russell hates clippers, but enjoys having his coat stripped, that is, the longer hair pulled out, rather than clipped. It's not such an easy way to groom, but the coat comes out short, very smooth, and very even. I spend an hour or two every other week with a stripping knife and a rubber glove, and get excellent results.

STOP stroking the dogs face and singing LINDO.. using that high pitch voice!! Ur only stressing the dog out more! You're more anxious than the dog! Your scissors need sharpening so bad and your clippers are extremely LOUD!! Lindoooooo!!! Smh That was cruel the way you guys forcefully held the dog down, I've never seen other groomers do that. You're calling the dog LINDOOOOO like 80 times while he's freaking out which only encourages that behavior. I had to stop.. if I hear lindooooo one more time I'm gonna scream!! Try being more QUIET 🤫

You need a better view of the grooming,can’t see what you’re doing. And secondly your hair needs to be pinned up cuz it covers the view.

Maybe the issue is the high pitch of the clippers, its really loud when i listen to it on here, just a suggestion to look for less noise versions of clippers

those little light colored dogs look like they forgot to get dressed when they are shaved like that. they look like they are running around in there long johns. it’s adorable. bless his little heart, he did pretty good though. i’ve seen a lot worse
