That's one of the joys of this fandom of such a long series is that everyone has a unique opinion since the series has reached a broad audience over it's 15 years or so of existence. I find it interesting that you enjoy Valhalla but I'm not overly confused by it. It is a fairly good game and can be enjoyed, I found it alright after marathoning the entire series lol. But just as Bryce loves Odyssey and I don't care much for it, there are varying opinions on the series, and I'm always open to hearing other opinions! The reason I put AC 1 low was just because by today's standards, it felt really repetitive. That still doesn't mean it doesn't hold a place in my heart. After all, it was the very first game I ever played on the PS3 and it'll always have that nostalgic feeling for me. :)

@@BCLGaming every game is repetitive, what matters is how much we enjoy what we're repeating. AC1 parkour is excellent and we get to use it between the investigations. Investigations take about a minute each and a few of them are fun, others have interesting lore, some are just annoying. The combat is at least one of my favourites. The shock and awe mechanic is poetry in motion to me Valhallas story was a lot more interesting to me. Really liked Eavor. It's a competitor for best looking game in the series.

I downloaded a widescreen mod to support my 1440p monitor. It also alters some of the textures. There are some glitches like health bars not showing up or a really important indicator in the last mission not popping up, but no major hiccups :) It's also easier to edit so I don't worry about the 4:3 aspect ratio lol. P.S. Cute doggie.

A lot of early Star Wars games were essentially Star Wars skins of classic games. Republic Commando = Halo. Battlefront = Battlefield. If it works it works lol

Madagascar 1&2, Spongebob Movie and the wonderful* wonderful* Shark Tale game was ironically already on my list (just kidding about shark tale being wonderful, I hated that game as a child)

There's a good 2-3 frames where there's two Gusteau books on screen leading me to believe there has to be at least 6 Gusteau books on the river. And I may check out the Wall-E game, we shall see...

That's a cool insight that I didn't quite catch. I understood the end where he understands his place in the story but I must've missed that which is 100% my bad. I was more coming from an Ezio Trilogy standpoint since Brotherhood was a direct continuation from II but Revelations was it's own from those two in a sense, but it did elevate Ezio's character greatly. The modern day section still sucked though, very sad about that still. But thanks for letting me know, changed how I see the game, I still love this game though.

@@BCLGaming thank you for doing this retrospective my dude! I'm a little older than you but pretty much the same story with PS2 then got a 360 with Force Unleashed (fucking amazing) but went out and got CoD 4 to play with mates and Assassin's Creed was a must too. Had only played at mates and it became one of my mainstay game series until Rogue which I didn't not get and haven't had any since. I've played them all but honestly just don't have the same investment that I used to, though I am looking forward to part 3 to see how you break them down. Part 2 is also just as good video bro. And for the record, I redownloaded Black Flag after remembering how memorable each of the characters and their journey was in that game, I am fucking loving playing it again and it's lead me to your videos, which are making me consider playing them all through from the start now 😁

Playing them all from the start definitely gave me a new perspective on the series that I grew up on and in some ways, found some new love in games I haven't played in a long time or at all. Thank you for stopping by though! And yes, Force Unleashed is fucking awesome.

I try not to repeat others, but I'm sure there were things here said before. It was mainly discussing my views on the series as it goes on. Glad you enjoyed it though!

To be honest, it's a fair product. Just not the most polished and the story is good up until the end where it kinda falls apart. The co-op is really fun though, if you have a friend. I know it gets really buggy with more than 2 people. It was still buggy with just two anyways. Probably get it on sale or used physically.

@@BCLGaming yeah it’s on sale when I have the Time I’ll get it honestly I just wanted to see what made Unity Unity as well as get the platinum cause I do it for all the ac games and other games I play on my ps4 when not playing on switch

I just wouldn't get your hopes too high and keep them low so if it surprises you then that's great! If it doesn't well then it won't be a bummer lol

That makes sense for the climbing. The leap of faith is what made me a little confused but I guess it’s easier to code lol. But that does explain the climbing. With shay, I understand that and it makes sense as well o just wish they explained it more

I completely understand that as it does take up half of the game. I thought it was a nice breathe break at times. Other times, it felt like a time waster. It all depended on the moment I guess.

Honestly, I didn't even finish AC4 the first time. When I came back a long time after I found out I was at the last bit, basically credits.

They mentioned it very briefly in 3 but yeah, that's some information I would've liked to know through the campaign, not dlc.

is that dlc included in the Ezio collection ? which includes dlc for all 3 games i think, not the Ezio trilogy coz i know they are just remasters of the original 3 games just boxed as a trilogy

@@kennysangster4759 I don't remember to be honest. I own it on ps4 (I believe) but never got far in brotherhood and revelations but also don't remember the two sequences in AC 2. On steam, I think they are available in the deluxe editions I bought, but tbh idk why I bought those if I wasn't gonna focus on DLC anyway. After looking it up, it seems the collection does include the DLCs :)

Won't spoil too much of my reactions in the coming weeks but I would say I, too, absolutely love Bioshock!
