GREEDY WITH TECH CARDS! Lugia VSTAR | Gameplay + Deck Profile | Shrouded Fable
มุมมอง 1274 หลายเดือนก่อน
Lugia has been my bread and butter deck as of late, netting me a League Cup win and 2nd at a challenge. The deck was hyped going into worlds but fell just short of top 8. This list gets a bit greedy running the Iron Bundle AND Flutter Mane, where most lugia decks run one of the two. I definitely think you can get away with one of the two. 4:35 - Agree.
I just need to get better at playing that myself lol
What about colognes for Mimikyu or Milotic ex? Or is it just about using Radiant Greninja? 🙂.
I could def see cologne being a thing, I think Palkia helps with Milotic (though not great) I've also thought about cutting Greninja for a rad zard. Though it's hard to tech for everything lol
#NOTCUTTINGOFFMYREPUBLICANSFRIENDS
I’m cutting off their ability to play the game regardless of political affiliation.
I am putting a 2-2 line noivern ex and a 1-1 line of milotic with 2 mimikyu in a 3-3 exeggutor ex deck
That seems pretty solid will have to try it!
@ thanks
@ I might add a cornerstone ogerpon ex
I Thinking about building a Flygon with Milotic, Cornerstone, mimikyu klefki deck
That could be really cool!
Been enjoying your content for a bit now! It's been cool seeing your insight to these different meta or non meta decks 👌🏼
Thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoy it! Hoping to bring more deck concepts soon
Is there a link to the tier list
And they lived happily ever after ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤
Guess whos got two thumbs and is taking Hydrapple to a regional 👍👍
I wish you luck and the best matchups!
Palkia dusknoir is better than the noctowl less bricks and you get that greninja to help against bad matchups
less bricks with a non consistency card over Noctowl.... it's possible it could be better, but that's not a valid reason why
@@jacksnell8875It's performed way better. Being able to destroy your opponent's board with Dusknoir and the greninjas very often wins on the spot.
@@hiddenmosaic you didn't read what I wrote did you.
@@hiddenmosaic I'm not saying it's better or worse, I'm saying it's impossible that it has "less bricks" when you remove Noctowl for Dusknoir line
@@jacksnell8875 Thats true. But the power level is why it is better. All I was trying to say because the original comment didn't really make that point. Deck is broken.
Dude really putting Hydrapple in D. Meta manipulation at its finest!
I put biases aside for the tier lists. Otherwise Gardy would’ve been in F tier 😂
this isnt card shop simulator
128 sub goal?
Not sure how I missed ancient box wasn’t listed… 🤦♂️ I was half awake recording this, anyway I’d put it in mid to low B tier. I think it’ll struggle in the current meta.
I faced it irl this past weekend, with a 1 prize poison deck... wasn't that bad, took the W
True it definitely has its counters. It can be a good meta call if you know your locals.
Kamala Harris was my high school D.A.R.E officer and she beat me with nightstick for 7 minutes in front of my classmates
I had been wanting to put the tree in Hydrapple. Thanks for showing it off

Waiting for that hydrapple control deck
Happened to be building a hydrapple ex deck, was wondering about the draw power of the deck. Would squak work better than mew since it can help draw more energy into your hand to turbo energy attachment?
1-1 line of hisuian lilligant vstar? It's pretty nice in grass decks that require this much set up
Lilligant is an overkill you don't need it
good content bro, but the music you chose is REALLY bad xD also try to speak your mind while you wait your opponent to play. maybe give some good insights about decision making against the deck your playing. wish you the best and keep it up!

Where do you see Gouging Fire?
I haven’t seen much of it or played much against it so I’d say a bit of a rogue pick. No worlds placings and mixed online results I’d probably put it in C tier.
i support this streamer because he brings his conservative values to the pokemon table
Agreed! Conservative tcg values in terms of deck selection, but I do like off the wall decks from time to time. Hope that won’t make you unsubscribe from my liberal use of decklists.
i support this streamer because he has conservative values.
Legacy energy works well with TM Crisis Punch
I hate this deck as someone who runs charizard ex dusknoir. Great job!
thank you!
I want to leave you some constructive criticism. Too many likes, uhhh's and pauses. You come off as unsure, which makes people not want to take your advice, which in turn is incredibly detrimental to a video guide. You just used the basic Stall list, that everyone knows and has seen, which should have made it easier for you to describe the various functionalities of the deck. You gotta work on it, my friend. I wish you all the luck in your content creator journey!
What situation would the ogrepon be more useful than the mimikyu? It seems like just a worse option
non ex decks that are still all ability based. duh
@@laxprincelang0152 the only non ex deck that’s decent is ancient box and it has no abilities. United wings maybe but also useless
Ogrepon kills charizard, because radiant and the charmeleon with the ability can hut mimikyu but not ogrepon. I run 2 of each!
Congrats, I recently built Lugia and this is a good list of inspiration
Congrats :D Loving lugia though ive since i also won my first cup ive now gone 1-4 at 2 cups.
Congrats on your win! I usually end up with a record like that so I was pleasantly surprised this time around 😁
heck yeah dude gonna try this deck list at my local tournament
Good luck hope it goes well for you!
been running for a while now. Highly recommend tm turbo energize to combo with techno radar on arven search going 2nd. This sets you up for the rest of the game on board. Tm devo is amazing for our low damage vs big evolving threats and rare candy fatigue. Instead of 4 Giovanni I highly recommend atleast 2 penny's which help with energy manipulate, switching, and healing vs many decks. Alongside an eri & mf sisters had been incredible. Play slow control style, and prime catcher has felt better for me. Have fun lol

Kyurem will be so good
I run Miraidon in this to hit for 220. It helps the raging bolt matchup with the Ogerpon.
I’ll have to give it a try! I love how versatile the deck is there truly never feels like a wrong answer for putting a tech in the deck.
You did really well finding lines of play from relatively poor starts and forcing opponents to concede to Dialga's brilliance!
Ty!
43:01. Why did you research and not use the rod first to put energy back in the deck? And you got drago that he didn’t have a second one set up. Ignore the fact he didn’t have a clever to send up a one prize so you didn’t knock out tow 2 prisers.
I usually body this deck though. I play control and this is one of the easier decks to play control against.
Yeah, definitely pretty much had you from the start. He shouldn’t have hit you that first turn and gone behind one and then come up and use his belt to knock you out. What’s that deck sets up It’s hard not to win with it. Best bet with it is to go second and use your evolution to go ahead and get a dipplin and an applin set up. Also, he said if you could’ve copied the attack, the double boss would’ve done you no good. You cannot choose your attack on the second turn. You have to hit what’s in the active.
@@Dads-acct yeah I think I had star chronos on the brain. It was the first time I hit that matchup with any deck so I definitely was not prepared for it 😂
Got the first cup with a very similar list yesterday ! Do like the buddle option ! I'm running roseanes backup in my deck to recover the legacy energy!
@@punkstar026 that’s awesome hope it went well! Thanks for checking out the video! My friend’s build does include backup I forgot to include it 😅 but that comes in clutch at times!
