Let's just give this woman her Emmy already. A bit overdue no. Bellamy Young is basically my favorite TV actress and this video sums up why. She's such an underrated treasure!
She's so versatile and has SO much range. I mean, her scenes this season have contained all kinds of emotions and she has been able to perpetuate them so well, so convincingly.
Also, only the best actors can pull off drunk scenes THIS perfectly. I just love how she's created an individual identity for drunk!mellie and has given her life through each scene; whenever she's drunk she stays true to that character she's created.

Olivia Pope has the best Hairstyles and Wordrobe in this TV Series. As for the Desperate Wife, her husband does not want her and treats her like Trash for another woman. Mellie repulses him, she's just there for his image. He will forever be in love with and want Olivia Pope. His wife Millie is gonna always lose and will forever be Miserable in the Marriage.
Mellie was a bitch. But she was Fitz’s HERO. She wasn’t appreciated and held a place many women have. Im amazed how shonda could see through those lines to portray her. She was rewarded in the end which was fitting.
Every actor gave 1000% on this series. It was the best!
The way Mellie emerged from the background in the first season to be my favorite character in the show by the end and I wanted for her to be in every scene is a testament to Bellamy fucking Young's talent. That woman played the shit outta that character.
The mistake Mellie made was "giving" Fitz to Olivia to "manage". Fitz is a "hoe" guys, that's for real.
Mellie was unbelievably brilliant! Her and Olivia as a team would have brought "bags of d*cks" yo their knees!

You’re right. Olivia made a conscious decision to sleep with a married man. Mellie was the innocent one to me. Loved Mellie’s courage and strength in the face of her struggles. Once she realized she could manipulate Fitz for her own gain, she did unfortunately.

Remember there was a time mellie cheated , she never opened up to fitz about the rape ..she literally lived in fear thinking her son belonged to her father in law . She would have opened up to her husband .All she did was pushed fitz away ..she pushed fitz to Olivia..how can a woman suddenly become so cold to her husband that she was pushing so much to fame and power..
